Can green enterprise revitalize America’s most distressed communities? Meet entrepreneur Tyrone Mullins and his peers in low-income urban neighborhoods who tell their stories, speak the truth about waste, and mobilize many thousands of residents to recycle and compost for the first time. By showing documentary stories and organizing discussions with property managers, community leaders, public officials and policy makers, our work secures contracts and creates jobs, reducing landfill waste by 50%. Each Green Streets worker recycles approximately 20,000 gallons of waste per month, and becomes a steward of his or her community.
In neighborhoods plagued by drugs and turf conflicts, enterprising young men and women who used to think they were unemployable are becoming beacons of hope.

Travis Wittmeyer and partners took a combination of years and expertise in building, developing and creating with sustainability in the forefront.
B+G’s foundation is sustainability and they are now in a phase of reaching out to collaborate and connect with like-minded businesses and individuals who see their vision, thus to create and support products and practices that are eco-friendly and productive.
When timeless aesthetics meets a high level of functionality and style, while providing an ecological product or service that will stand the test of time.
Why sustainability and ethics are some of the main underlying values of B+G and what are some of the current things they are doing that fit these values (i.e., TOD partnership, ADU opportunity)
Blue and Green encourages other businesses and individuals who are interested in producing, manufacturing, selling or buying eco-friendly goods and services, to contact them.
