As we move into 2015 Angels we have an opportunity and a choice whet er to CARRY AN EMPTY BASKET OR A WEIGHTED BASKET through this cycle of life.
Personally I have chosen to carry a EMPTY BASKET and that is by NOT carrying my Coffee Cup and Water with me everywhere, downsizing to a smaller purse, emptying out my closets and letting go of clothes I no longer wear, cleaning behind beds, chairs, back in corners that are not usually touched on a weekly basis or however you may clean.
It makes for one to feel much lighter, and more peaceful. And THAT, Angels makes ALL the difference in the world of how you experience life! In what ways are you able to make your BASKET lighter? Are you willing to let go of things that you no longer use? Another thing I have done is clean out my wallet, threw away old business cards and information that I no longer need. It does make a difference!
I encourage YOU to schedule some time with yourself, maybe watching TV and go through drawers, purses, wallets, phone numbers, emails, and see how you FEEL afterward! Take notice of that because that feeling will encourage you to let go even more!

bringing people back to themselvess
Sharon McErlane is a psychotherapist from Laguna Beach, Ca. who in 1996 received a vision that changed her life. The Council of the Grandmothers appeared as she walked her dog and revealed what must be done to bring the masculine and feminine energies on Earth back into balance. “Earth has suffered too long from an excess of yang and insufficient yin,” they said. “We have come to correct this.” Sharon has been sharing their empowerment into the energy of yin for over ten years. She will take the Grandmothers’ message and empowerment to Lithuania and the Netherlands in May and June and hold ceremonies in five cities there.
Each month she holds a Grandmothers’ Empowerment ceremony and meeting at her home in Laguna Beach, Ca. and passes on the Grandmothers’ latest teachings to women and men. At this time, thousands of women have received the Grandmothers’ Empowerment, many men have received the Cloak of Comfort and almost seventy Grandmothers’ groups have sprung up over the world. Sharon has written “A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak,” which describes her experiences with these wise women. To find out more about the Grandmothers’ message and a group near you, go to www.grandmothersspeak.com.

Preserving oral traditions also preserves the ancient ways of women. It preserves those teachings that were passed from woman to woman in different tribes and communities. These ways have nourished girls grow into women, women into mothers and grandmothers. We, the non-profit Sacred Woman, are trying to create a gathering of medicine women, women who have been working in the feminine ways in United States in collaboration with Kolo Collaboration. So join Magdala Ramirez and special guest Danica Anderson in this episode!
Join us as we continue our Whose Watching Who? Series Part 4 "IMAGING VS I'M AGING!" We're in 2015 and unfortunately, as we're fighting for equal rights, too many are still stuck on whose IMAGE is better. Society has caused a division among women of color against caucasian women from the beginning of time. It's time we build on the Solution rather than the problem.
Women of all nationalities are being judged by the color of their skin. Our girls are judged from birth as well as our sons.
Join us to discussion how we can break the curse of division. Remember we all are part of the cause and effect.

Obama Hood strikes again! Our president told his fellow Democrats (Smurfs) that he is going on offense. While the veto is defensive to its core, we got a pretty good glimpse last night of what the president meant by offense. What is he doing other than goaltending under the basket?
Picture Obama trying to steal 3rd base, caught in a pickle. McConnell is plaing 2rd; Boehner is playing 3rd. McConnell is telling Obama to stay on 2nd where it is safe; negotiate with us; compromise with us. But Obama's third base coach (pick any progressive) is waving him in telling him not just to steal third, but go for home, so Obama takes off. Boehner shakes his head as if to say, "I knew he was going to do that."
Now Obama is caught ..... running back and forth to avoid being tagged out by the glove of irrelevance. He throws this goodie at the people then that. ... this then that .... all the while saying he will take it away from the people in the sky boxes in order to pay for them. "FREE hot dogs and ice cold beer for everyone!" he yells to the people in the stands. The people cheer, but they know he is just shouting. They know he can't deliver. They know that he is out.
No one will get a free hot dog. No one will get a free beer. No one will get anything. Why? Because that is what happens BETWEEN 2nd and 3rd base. You're trapped, with no chance to get home. The pickle you get caught in serves up some short term excitement until the runner is tagged out, hanging his head for the walk of shame back to the dug out.
THIS was Obama's speech last night. An exciting pickle that will end with Obama .... AND his fellow Smurfs ..... called out in 2016.
We will talk more about this Purchase of the Union Address tonight especially in terms of how it keeps the people divided against themselves which, as I said last night, may be the point.
The philosophy of non-violence is not one of fear but of fearlessness in the face of violence. Much of the violence in the urban community is self inflicted by yesterday's neglected, rejected and abused children who have now come of age and are terrorizing the neighborhoods with senseless violence. The adults who draw youth into organized crime capitalize on broken homes, absent fathers and overwhelmed mothers and grandmothers. The evil of guns and drugs is just as deadly as police with fire hoses and attack dogs in keeping communities in a state of terror. Can Dr. King's strategy of non-violent direct confrontation work in ridding neighborhoods of street violence? How? Community Activist, Coach and Candidate for 20th Ward Alderman Ernest Radcliff explains how his nonviolent work with youth has been successful.

Stir It Up with Connie and Brother Fatiyn
Stir It Up is a radio talk show that stirs up topics about woman for woman. Connie Johnson says what people think but are afraid to say. Although she is sometimes snippy in her delivery, her charismatic personality gives the audience the warm feeling that they are talking to their sister, mother, daughter or friend. Her co-host Brother Fatiyn is a perfect balance to the show as he brings a serious intellectual perspective to topics that are discussed. Fatiyn who is a husband, dad and son, is the big brother who gives the male perspective and sound advice. Although he and Connie sometimes agree to disagree, their dialogue is not only serious and controversial, but funny. After Brother Fatiyn talks about current hot topics, the dialogue begins with two guest who, are on opposite sides of the topics, both co host and sometimes callers.
Some of the topics to look forward to are:
The identity of a woman
Women and their finances
