Do you movies add to being addicted to drama in relationships? It's the tenth anniversary of The Notebook which has the topic of drama, romance and love on our minds. People tend to misinterpret peak experience, especially in romance, but really in all areas of life. It's like they think if there isn't drama of some sort there isn't passion. It really does turn into a drama addiction. The brain gets super hooked on the adrenaline, and then people create drama and things to get worked up over.
"Movies have really made it hard to be satisfied with the regular every day love and life that doesn't peak and valley that way." Lisa M. Hayes, Relationship Coach.
On today's show Lisa M Hayes, Relationship Coach and Cassie Parks, Lifeologist are going to talk about drama addiction. What happens in your brain that creates the addiction. How can you change it? Can you have a peak experience in a relationship and have it turn into a real realationship? How do you create drama free relationships?
We'll also talk about what it looks like to live a life that is fullfilling and drama free.

Psychosomatic illness is experiencing our emotions in the body. Daily concerns of possessiveness, jealousy, success, failure, and overall general worry can make us feel ‘caught up’ in the drama of life. Tune in this week as Nancy and I discuss the disconnect that has on your destiny. The Soul’s Intent calls the objective 'witness' your above observer. Whatever your name is for it, remember that your observer sees emotional drama dispassionately and frees you to make a choice. Take an honest look at repetitive or obsessive roles. Examine the charged emotions often associated with them such as anger, fear, or jealousy. Believe it or not, you can choose not to be drawn into them. There is liberation in observing your life from varied positions. At the same time, befriend the emotional, reactive part of yourself so you can learn the underlying issues associated with them. Tonight’s show is here to remind you that ALL emotions hold the positive intent of assisting you to see the truth, receive a teaching, or healing the root source. Strong negative emotions often come from hidden wounds and unresolved life experiences. Medical science instructs that we store them in our bodies unknowingly. Are you easily ‘unhinged’ by your feelings and emotions? If so, tune in as we offer the position of observer and give you choices.

There is often a disembodiment that occurs when one has experienced rape. Many people report feeling as if they were outside looking in at themselves and that they had "deserted themselves all together during the experience." So, the question is, what can be done to reconnect to the body after the body has experienced trauma? Many people in this category feel that the body is a dangerous place. They are often disgusted and even distrustful of the body its very self.
This podcast walks you through an exercise to mindfully reconnect. You may download the podcast and replay it in the mornings if it helps you come in contact with your body once again.

Maybe you need to forgive someone or ask for forgiveness to truly walk in the power of God. Some of us are surrounded by drama in the church, at work and in our relationships. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
