Hosted by dark-skinned free-thinker Vincent E Brown, this show discusses a myriad of issues from the political, moral, and religious. Of course, every now and then a bit of controversy is liable to show up at any time, so tune in and listen to a host who is black, Christian, and conservative. I will be dedicating today's show to the prevalence of stupidity in today's society. Is common sense dead? How did we get here and why does stupidity contain to gain a foothold in our culture?
TODAY'S GOP - NOW THE "GOP" ===> (GRUMPY OLD PEOPLE)
We've think that we've worked out the kinks to our new technology - but who knows? Every show of Brooklyn GOP Radio is an adventure in and of itself! Gene flies solo tonight (with the possibility of Russell calling from an "undisclosed location" somewhere in America) to discuss the week that was in NYC, state and national politics. Sure to be discussed is the NY SAFE Act protest that happened in Albany, Bill De Blasio getting booed out of Citi Field, Rob Astorino's family opt-out of Common Core and more!
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were very good friends, but they often didn’t agree. Yet, they are both champions of liberty to whom we owe an unpayable debt. Does everyone in the GOP have to agree? When the RNC Consultant,Lobbyist,Establishment Complex (CLEC) is running Neocons and RINOs, the answer is always yes; however, when champions of conservatism, the Constitution and liberty disagree, the answer is divide and conquer and denigrate them. Senators Paul and Cruz are in b

We all deal with it. From shameless & downright ignorant posts on our social-media sites, to in person encounters with people that just refuse to educate themselves on what is going on in the world and around them, to perhaps those in our own family, and even at work or in our personal lives.
We talk about that tonight, since we all deal with it, very regularly.
THE GOP 2.0 ===> CHRIS CHRISTIE OR JEB BUSH? (HELL NO!)
If Republicans take control of the U.S. Senate in this year's elections, it will be, as Vice President Joe Biden might put it more graphically, a big deal. President Barack Obama has the veto pen for the last two years of his term even if the GOP takes the Senate and keeps the House.
With a GOP Senate and House; The president can stop repeal of things like Obamacare, but a determined congressional majority can wreak havoc by using the initial budget process, known as reconciliation, which allows major changes to be made with only a majority Senate vote that isn't subject to veto. But wouldn't that take Republicans who had proven they had Balls? Let's talk about it this Thursday morning shall we.
Rejoice, New Yorkers! We are not the most overly-taxed state in the nation anymore! Huzzah! Now, we're only the THIRD most overly-taxed state in the nation!
Join Gene & Russell and they talk about this "great" news. Plus, show blog contributor Mona Salama makes her on-air debut to discuss Mayor De Blasio's first 100 days, and the gang will weigh in on for NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg's pledge of $50M to take on the NRA.
That, plus Buffoon of the Week and the usual tomfoolery - 2 drink minimum tonight!
Five months that have passed since the Obamacare exchanges have rolled out, yet the GOP obsession with Obamacare hasn’t dissipated at all. The website is fixed, people are getting on the exchanges., yet in the land of GOP hubris and rhetoric, Obamacare is the precursor for the "end of times". Where does the truth regarding Obamacare actually lie? Join Jed, Fred, along with Marg on BTR’s Lies My Country Told Me, “Obamacare & the GOP: A Dog with
