Going Green: Conservation vs Environmetanlism
All of us care very much about protecting our environment and being good stewards so that future generations are able to enjoy the great outdoors.
But the evironmental movement, also known as the "Green Movement," is imposing its views on hunting, fishing and land use and is attempting to affect policy.
The "Green Movement" sees any disturbance in nature as destructive (i.e. hunting, fishing, building of damns, forestry, etc), whereas, conservationists believes these "distrubances" are what actually helps sustain the environment. Nature is in constant flux and these resources are needed as a matter of survival.
Join host Sue Ann Penna and co-host Media Strategist Joe Sangillo as they discuss this issue with Anthony Mauro, President of the NJ Outdoor Alliance.
Anthony Mauro is also the author of "Color the Green Movement Blue: A Remedy for Environmental Health."
