The faithfulness of God is a tremendous encouragement in days when people’s hearts are failing them for fear. If you build your life on people or on the things of this world, you will have no hope or security; but if you build on Christ, the Faithful One, you will be safe forever. He is faithful to chasten (Psalms. 119:75); Lamentations itself teaches this lesson. He wants to bring us to the place of repentance and confession (Lamentations. 3:39–41). Although God cleanses us apart from any merit in us, His grace is never an excuse for loose living (Roman. 6:1-2). A person who knows that God has graciously rescued him from the fire will not want to jump back into the flames. The one who has been clothed with the righteousness of Christ will not want to jump into the mud. As those cleansed by God, we should always seek to be clean vessels, ready for the Father's use (2 Timothy. 2:21). Whenever we sin, we must apply Jesus’ blood to our hearts in order to be clean for God to use us in service. If God has not rescued you from your sins, you must let go of your good works and allow God to cleanse you by His sovereign grace through Christ alone. If He has rescued you, it is so that you can now serve Him as you walk in His ways. This is how you can serve a Holy God! In the vision Zechariah sees Joshua, the high priest (whose name means, The Lord saves) standing before the angel of the Lord, Satan is standing at Joshua’s right hand to accuse him, and he’s got a good case, because Joshua did not dress properly for court! In Revelation 12:10, Satan is called the accuser of our brethren, who accuses them before our God day and night. He doesn’t need to do a lot of homework to prepare his case. He just points to our many sins and says, This man does not deserve to be Your child. He does not deserve to get into Your heaven. And he most certainly does not deserve to serve Your cause. I rest my case. Listen in to our lesson topic: What Makes You Think, You Can Serve A Holy God? also visit us at www.uptopministries.org

Today I had a very tough day not because bad things happened just change I was not expecting. However after breathing and taking a few minutes to digest and process the information I returned praises to the Lord.
Today we are going to pray and read the word and fellowship in the Spirit!
Joshua’s need for courage and to appreciate God’s promises so that it would allow him to handle the obstacles he and the people would facing. The statement made, “you and all this people.” This was no small group and the very numbers made this a colossal task. Furthermore, Joshua had the responsibility of leading a people who were noted for being stiff-necked and who threw stones at their leaders. But more importantly, the word “all” reminds us that it is God’s purpose for all His people to move into His will, is for us to mature and become strong, and to live productively in the will of God. Nevertheless, regardless of the obstacles, God’s will had been clearly made known to Joshua and he needed to act on this fact. In Joshua 1:1-5, Joshua is commissioned by the LORD Himself to become the leader of Israel after the death of Moses. To say the least, this was a daunting task because the nation of Israel had been an extremely difficult people to lead, a fact all too well known by Joshua who had been Moses’ military general in the field. Now God was calling Joshua to be the new leader of this very nation. Join Us From Our Lession Topic: "God Commission His Leaders To Be Strong And Courageous"n also visit us at www.uptopministries.org
I cannot accept the idea that God gave us a mind without the freedom and responsibility to use it. Organized religion has demonstrated through the ages that it is opposed to independent thought. The man-made and man-managed religions only allow the freedom to follow tradition. Even religious movements established upon the principles of religious freedom soon established rules to limit or completely destroy independent thought.
Religious tradition limits free expression of ideas. To receive the blessing of the church – and salvation itself – we must stay within the box. Thinking outside the box is prohibited. This religious box – centered on the church building – defines practically all of modern day Christianity. Spiritual growth is stifled in such an atmosphere.
Is there a way out?
When the author in the book of Hebrews 10:26-27 says, "if we go on sinning willfully," he is not talking about the "normal" sins that every believer commits. If he were, then who could be saved, because no one has ever lived without sin after salvation! While we do sometimes sin inadvertently, most of our sins are willful! We sin because we choose to sin! But the Bible is clear that if we sin, God graciously forgives and cleanses us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:7-9).
