Today’s topic: Pang
What does it have to do with Get Healthy Now?
Why this sound? How does it make you feel?
Something or someone comes to an abrupt stop.
X-Rays, shoulder dislocated, stiff due to 15 hrs delay
ER Dr tried 3 x, put me out, shoulder in.
Why am I telling this story? Ways to get redirected after a pang. My reflections: glad it was not worse, glad I could get up, happy shoulder was put back in place, life goes on. After every fall or pang, get up and do, be and give your best again. No need to get depressed, no need to feel sorry for yourself, look at your life being fully balanced and bounce back. I chose my balance over imbalance just because I was in pain.
In every situation we get to chose the outcome as long as we live.
Start laughing as quickly as possible as it releases the good, healing endorphins. It also helps you balance quicker and the pain subsides faster.
OK, what comes after Pang? Get up!
Don’t let a fall hinder you from following your dream. Sometimes we need to fall forward to get stronger and better at what we are doing,
Pang! / Get up!

Good evening, fellow seekers, and welcome to Moving Towards Light, a forum where we discuss and provide some hard earned insight relating to our own explorations of the many roads and methods which promise to lead us to the ultimate answer: a higher purpose, the meaning of life.
Service. Most belief systems and practically applicable philosophies preach similar core tenets: help those less fortunate, be an active member of your community, treat others with the same care, respect and value as you do yourself and those you love...so why exactly do so many of us...hell, all of us, get so hung up on hating "outsiders" of whatever stripe?
It's time to get real with ourselves and recognize the importance...the basic human need for self examination and genuine humility. It's high time we actively practice getting over ourselves, and recognizing none of us are the only (or best) person or persons on Earth.
We're all in this together - time to own up to the fact.
Plus our usual tangenital flow of thought and transference of deep knowledge and esoteric wisdom...regular listeners know the score!
For all those frustrated in their quest, who've been through various stops on the spectrum of spirituality and found them ultimately unfulfilling:
Join hosts "Doc" Savage and Janna (the "Esoteric Mom") as we share both hard learned lessons and thoughts on potential new directions in the quest, on our journey towards light.
Jessica Leichtweisz and Dr. Aikyna Finch will be joined on the Empowering Women Series by Stacy Moscotti, passionate entrepreneur and network marketer, as she discusses, "Vitamin Be Yourself." She is going tell us about the five core areas of Self Health. She is a woman without limits and truly believes the impossible is possible. Call in at (949) 203-4763 or chat in at 9pm EST/ 8pm CST on 11/19 and join the conversation. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/changingmindsonline/2015/11/20/vitamin-be-yourself

Today’s Topic: Food & Recipes/Myths & Facts
Do you listen to the news with all the controversial topics about healthy foods,
Ripley’s Believe it or Not game: listen, hear, think, look for scientific answers, substantiated answers?
Dairy products: Yes / No
Grains: Yes / No
Meat: Yes / No
Fruits and veggies: Yes / No
Eggs: Yes / No
Putting certain produce in the refrigerator: Yes / No
With each question ask yourself Why / Why not?
Are these Myths & Facts general ideas?
Should they apply to everyone or according to individual needs?
Are health, age/youth, activity level, mobility, etc. considered?
Eggs: Yolk bad for cholesterol, too much fat…..
Now science says that eggs are healthy for us and I no longer throw the yolk out. It actually contains a healthy fat, nutrients, …
Always verify first before blindly believing. Hearing is one thing, believing another.
When in doubt, ask your doctor, dietician, coach, counselor…. Or better yet, do your own research to verify.
When you hear a title like the Coaching Cupid, you probably think of matchmakers, marital therapists and dating coaching. But in the case of Dhylles Davis, all of those things would be wrong. You see, while Dhylles is all about love, she's about learning to love yourself. Yes, we hear that phrase 'love yourself' all of the time and most of the time we aren't really sure what that means. So listen in and learn what it means to love yourself and exactly how you go about doing it (and here's a hint, it has nothing to do with a B.O.B. - battery operated boyfriend!).

We always hear about the business wunderkinds. The entrepreneurial phenoms that experience success before the tender age of 30 (and many times even younger). But wait a minute! Starting a business doesn't have to mean starting when you are young. In fact, author and blogger Lynne Strang says there are some benefits of starting a business later in life. Your Second Act can be the perfect time to pursue their entrepreneurial passions.

Today’s topic: Recipes
original bread recipe:
4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp Fleishman’s dry yeast
2 Tbl sugar
12 oz lukewarm liquid
3 cups flour
½ cup oats
½ cup rye flour
Third version: same as 2
6 scoops flax seed meal
13 Tbl water = 2/3 cup
3 cups bread flour
½ cup oats
1/2 cup coconut flour
½ cup ground up avocado seeds
Fifth version: divide into 4, roll out each piece, then sprinkle some cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and a cut up fruit on flat piece, roll up, put back into pan but without the hook. Do this with all 4 pieces. Push it all down a bit, close lid, then set on 80 min bake.
Due to high blood pressure I have been leaving the salt out. We don’t need a preservative, as we cut the bread into slices when it’s cold and freeze it so it stays fresh. Put it in the toaster when ready to eat and it tastes like fresh out of the oven again!
Let me know how your bread turned out!
