    Setting God Free: Awakening to Miracles - The book and the journey

    A few years ago, I wrote a book titled "Setting God Free: Awakening to Miracles," about my spiritual journey and awakening. At times during these past few years, I have felt a need to give it a new push - that more people are ready to embark on their own deeper journey and will be able to relate to it, or get a boost just from reading about it. 

    The book has recently been promoted as a free kindle download (good thu Sunday Nov 1)  and many have accepted that free gift. Now...I want you to read it and take it to heart!  We always have opportunities to ignite our spiritual journey and give it a kickstart. This is one of those opportunities. A declaration by action...declare that you are ready by reading the book and contemplating what the message might be to you. Allow Holy Spirit's guidance. By joining together in this topic in a deeper, more active way, we will enhance and empower each others' further awakenging!  

    The episode will be somewhat of a "book group" for discussing the book. Lines will be open for callers to question or to share some of their similar experiences with awakening moments - as well as the usual format for receiving a personal on-air "mini-reading" for guidance from angels and spirit for your best steps now on your spiritual journey

    What does it have to do with Get Healthy Now?

    Why this sound? How does it make you feel?

    Something or someone comes to an abrupt stop.

    Then what?


    X-Rays, shoulder dislocated, stiff due to 15 hrs delay

    ER Dr tried 3 x, put me out, shoulder in.

    Why am I telling this story?  Ways to get redirected after a pang. My reflections: glad it was not worse, glad I could get up, happy shoulder was put back in place, life goes on. After every fall or pang, get up and do, be and give your best again. No need to get depressed, no need to feel sorry for yourself, look at your life being fully balanced and bounce back. I chose my balance over imbalance just because I was in pain.

    In every situation we get to chose the outcome as long as we live.

    Your choice?

    Start laughing as quickly as possible as it releases the good, healing endorphins. It also helps you balance quicker and the pain subsides faster.

    OK, what comes after Pang? Get up!

    Don’t let a fall hinder you from following your dream. Sometimes we need to fall forward to get stronger and better at what we are doing,

    Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Bread Recipe

    Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Founder and CEO of Miclknight. I am an Educator, Speaker, Radio Show Host, Author and a full-circle Health Coach.


    Today’s topic: Recipes

    original bread recipe:

    4 cups flour

    2 eggs 

    2 tsp salt

    2 tsp Fleishman’s dry yeast

    2 Tbl sugar

    12 oz lukewarm liquid

    Second version:

    3 cups flour

    ½ cup oats

    ½ cup rye flour

    Third version: same as 2

    6 scoops flax seed meal

    13 Tbl water = 2/3 cup  

    Fourth version

    3 cups bread flour

    ½ cup oats

    1/2 cup coconut flour

    ½ cup ground up avocado seeds 

    Fifth version: divide into 4, roll out each piece, then sprinkle some cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and a cut up fruit on flat piece, roll up, put back into pan but without the hook. Do this with all 4 pieces. Push it all down a bit, close lid, then set on 80 min bake.

    Due to high blood pressure I have been leaving the salt out. We don’t need a preservative, as we cut the bread into slices when it’s cold and freeze it so it stays fresh. Put it in the toaster when ready to eat and it tastes like fresh out of the oven again!
