Interracial relationships are on a rise in the United States. Interracial married couples grew by 28 percent from 2000 to 2010, making 8.4 percent of all current U.S. marriages mixed-raced.
So, it’s no surprise that there has been an explosion of television shows featuring interracial couples. However, mainstream television series that portray Black people in interracial relationships – with Black women in particular – appear to far outnumber programs depicting Black couples.
In 1975, “The Jefferson" was the first television series to garner attention to featuring the first African American/Caucasian marriage. The series ran for 10-years. Just recently, there has been a huge influx of television shows that promote interracial relationship – with its most popular and most controversial – ABC’s "Scandal".
On this episode of Hot Topics Talk Radio, we’re going to examine the rise of shows which promote interracial relationships, and the decrease of shows that depict Black relationships and marriages. We are asking the question, “Is Black marriage going away in mainstream television?”

Games and TV go together like peanut butter and jelly. There has been so much cross-platform mingling of these two mediums for so long, it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
This week, the GCR Crew will attempt to separate these two seemingly different mediums with a discussion about how games are portrayed in television. Whether an actual gaming show (such as "The Tester"), shows that feature gaming, or shows that occasionally/incidentally depict gaming, these programs will all be fair "game" for our discussion. We'll also feature another Live Impromptu Game Review!

Dorm Room Television chats it up with the creators of this site and finds out just what makes "From A Wild Flower" so appealing to everyone.

No longer are they just simply there for comedic relief, but are actually having their own lead roles in a new show, or as extremely important supporting characters. Tonight, we talk about shows coming up that should have more representation or doing a great job doing so. And past shows that were just teaming with wonderful array of the LGBTQ community.
Host: Charles "IamBranded" Madison + Sweet Erin
