Today's Topic is "What is Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract" My special guest today is Dr. Matthew J. Budoff. Matthew J. Budoff, M.D., FACC, is Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Director of Cardiac CT at the Division of Cardiology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Dr. Budoff received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in cardiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Budoff is chief investigator in several active medical research trials and is a frequent lecturer on topics of cardiology at symposia, congresses and annual conferences on nearly every continent. He has authored or co-authored over 500 research papers, six books and 36 book chapters. Dr. Budoff received the Einstein Award for Scientific Achievement from the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, UK, and was awarded the Top Oral Abstract at the American Heart Association’s 2009 meeting. In this 56th episode of the Healthy Wild And Free podcast I speak with Peter Josling, he is the Director of the Sussex based Herbal Research Centre. He is a trained bio-chemist graduating from Nottingham University in England and he gained a PhD in natural medicine in 2005 from Redding. He has had over 25 years experience in the International Health Food arena devoting his time to conducting and publishing clinical studies and writing scientific articles on a wide variety of natural products including garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba, phosphatidyl serine, hypericum, saw palmetto, cellulose (first published), vitamin C, black elderberry, magnesium (first published) and allicin (first published). He has also formulated over 20 combination products using stabilised allicin as the base material and completed clinical research on extracts used in human and animal health.

Weekly Recipe: Beef Taco Filling. I use this to fill Red Cabbage leaves. Simply serve with taco shells for your family members and guests who don't need to go Keto.
1lb grass fed ground beef, 1 yellow onion, chopped, 4 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar sheese, 1 jar organic salsa. In a large skillet combine onion and ground beef and cook until beef is no longer pink. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Drain fat and put in your slow cooker. Add cheese, salsa, cumin, and salt. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for for 5 hours. Add tomatoes and shreeded lettuce if desired, and wrap in cabbage leaves to serve.

she is doing wino chicken wings. Here are the ingredients Garlic, onions, Vodka, Party Chicken wings, Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar
1 4 lb bag of party wings
20 cloves of garlic minced
1/2 Medium onion minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 Bottle Vodka
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Onion Powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Season the chicken allow to sit. Mince the garlic and onions. In a medium pot add about 2 tablespoons of Vegetable oil. Heat and add the onion and garlic. Saute until almost brown in a medium fire. Remove pot from the fire, and add Vodka. Turn fire down and allow to simmer until halfway evaporated. In a skillet heat some vegetable oil and fry the chicken. Do not use flour!Remove and drain the oil. Add the brown sugar to the pot with the sauce. Allow to simmer until the sugar is dissolved. In a shallow oven pan, layer the chicken and pour the sauce over the chicken. Put the chicken in the oven on 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Allow to cool, serve, and enjoy

Recipe from this week's show: Beef Bacon Stroganov
1/2 lb. butter or ghee
1 lb. bacon
3 lbs. sirloin or other tender cut of beef
1 cup chopped green onion, shallots, or leek
2 tsp Knox gelatin
2 tsp. Himalayan pink salt, or sea salt (not table salt!)
1 tsp. fresh ground black pepper or white pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dried tarragon
1.5 c. coconut milk
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. mustard powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1. tsp. ginger powder
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. rosemary leaves
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. cardamom
1/4 tsp. ground coriander
Equipment: Some bowls, mortar & pestle, sharp knife, cast iron or other pan, boiling pot
Method: Cut the beef and bacon into small chunks, set aside. Cut the onion/shallots/leeks and garlic into small chunks, set aside. Mix all the spices in the mortar. Set your boiling pot going on low heat and put in the coconut milk and butter. Once melted, whisk in the gelatin and continue to stir until it's dissolved. Whisk in the spices. Cook on low for a few minutes until hot (not boiling) and set aside. Cook the beef and bacon together in a pan and set aside once done. Cook the onions/shallots and garlic in a pan with about 1/4 cup water until tender, strain and mix with the meat. Pour the sauce mixture on top of the meat to make the Stroganov.
