A brawl, a receiver's return, a rookie's coming out party and another comeback.
Nick Foles tossed two of his three touchdown passed to second-round rookie Jordan Matthews and the Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) edged the Washington Redskins (1-2) 37-34 on Sunday afternoon.
DeSean Jackson made his return to Philadelphia and his 81-yard touchdown reception to tie the game at 27-27 highlighted a five-catch, 117-yard performance. Kirk Cousins played admirably in his first game filling in for Robert Griffin III this season, completing 30-of-48 passes for 427 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.
Foles, meanwhile, was 27-of-41 for 325 yards for the Eagles, who became the first team in NFL history to start 3-0 after trailing by at least 10 points in each game.

When this aspiring humorist and jerk at sevsdeadserious watches Fox News to see how far stupidity has reached at any given point to my continuing amazement and need for material. The host-as-idiot doesn't matter, though I sometimes find Meghan Kelly tolerable; O'Relly is a Nazi in the guise of a conservative pudit (and it still continues to amaze me that Harvard gave hime a Master's in Public Administration...whatever that is) and the king of the bullies, the most self righteous uneducated and camera hogging media nitwit since Tiny Tim (who could at least sing to some extent), my personal favorite whipping boy Sean Hannity and the turd in waiting, Greg Gutfeld smarmy midget at mouth. The contributors range from the bizarre...Don Imus's long time producer who always wears his glasses on top of his old bald pate and his expertise woulde be...? Stacy "she be lite-skinned" Dash, an actress (?) who's claim to fame was a flick called 'Clueless'...need I say more; not just a movie but a way of life. And as for the climate deniers, that just plain borders on the pathetic...trying to discredit people with PhD.'s with journalists and business leaders. Garcon scientist please! And the women ALL have large well-formed breasts squeezed into a small space.

Your hosts Eric Balkman and Dave Gerczak discuss how high they would draft Jermichael Finley in Footballguys.com and FFPC drafts and Balky talks about why he is still avoiding Pierre Garcon in 2013.
The guys are also joined by Rotoviz.com's James Goldstein to talk about Cam Newton's perceived drop in value and why a new metric called the Upside Ratio could help players avoid the land mines and hit on the sleeping studs this season.
As always, the guys answer your tweets, emails, calls and more on The High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour!
On this episode of the FFToolbox, we're talking about...the NFC East, looking at four questions for each team as we near fantasy football draft season including the risk that is Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray, whether Giants QB Eli Manning is underrated, if any receiver on the Redskins not named Pierre Garcon is worthy of interest and if can we trust anyone on the Eagles not named LeSean McCoy. Join Ben Standig and Brian Murphy live and ask them questions whenever on Twitter @benstandig and @spokes_murphy.
As the title of the show states, the Washington Redskins are clearly OTW, with a victory over the NY Giants on MNF and also going 3-0 vs NFC East in back-to-back matchups.
The "10sational" RGIII and Alfred "Run Joe" Morris setting records, and the entire offense continue to keep opponents in disarray with the Shanahan Pistol Offense Meanwhile, the defense clearly has stepped up, to especially include Jim Haslett for designing schemes to throw the great Eli Manning off just enough to hold to NYG offense to 16 points.
But the Skins have limited time to celebrate...next they face their Beltway bretheren the Baltimore Ravens coming off a surprise loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 13.
Join Jedi as he talks about the Redskins' path to a Division title and the playoffs - and how the chips need to fall. It will not get any easier, and no game can be taken for granted....but it sure is fun to watch!
