    in Sports

Tonight is going to be a very special episode. We will be talking with Larry Houser from the Fullerton Cares Autism Organization. This is a great and well run group dedicated to the Awareness, Acceptance, & Action for Autism.

Fullerton Cares was founded in efforts to raise money, awareness and acceptance for autism in the Fullerton community. The main beneficiary being the autism and special needs programs in the Fullerton School District.

    The Team:

Larry Houser founded Fullerton Cares Autism Coalition following the autism diagnosis of his son Boyd, with the goal of creating opportunities for autism awareness, acceptance, and action. In collaboration with the community, Houser has dedicated his life to autism through Fullerton Cares through events including the sold-out Comedy Shows for Autism, and Mardi Gras for Autism. Houser is deeply supportive of Fullerton School District autism programs at local elementary schools, and supports national autism organizations that advocated for families affected by autism. He believes that we must create inclusion for our children with autism and that through working together and pursuing every possible avenue we can do something incredible for children of all abilities.

I know I’m preaching to the choir when I say an entrepreneur’s life is busy and stressful. It’s the understatement of the year. Your to-do list is longer than a hipster’s beard and your energy level … well let’s just say it’s pretty non-existent. So the thought of adding exercise to the mayhem is enough to make you want to curl up in the fetal position and sleep for a month.

You’re probably asking yourself right now, “How can I possibly add one more thing to my schedule?” It’s not as crazy as you think. And it’s worth it in the long run. Cara Fullerton is going to give you several ways on how you can do it.

Cara Fullerton is a recovering Morning TV reporter turned Healthy Lifestyle Coach. Using life coaching skills, plus her experience as a personal trainer she helps people who have failed at every diet out there, put their life on hold until they lose 10lbs, or who just need a really good energy boost. She helps them fall in love with their lives again! Visit Cara online HERE!  Plus read her article in the 5th Issue of the Brighter Business Empower Magazine HERE.

Why Hookups Are No Hook Up

    in Christianity

Hookups. Sex with no attachments. "Test drive" theory. Many seek the authentic in the inauthentic. But there are no shortcuts to obtaining the authentic relationship. In a "do what makes you feel good" society, how do we help our young people live in sexual faithfulness (purity)? What components led to the 'hookup culture'? Some view sex as a casual act, but it has greater implications than you may understand—because God made it that way—and His purpose in doing so, wasn’t casual, as our society leads many to believe. We'll speak with Bryan A. Sands, campus pastor at Hope International University (Fullerton, CA) and founder of the blog Everyone Loves Sex: So Why Wait?. We will educate, equip and bring truth to deceptions perpetuated by our society regarding sex and hookups. We'll also discuss the science of sex and why bonding (whether we know it or not) occurs between sexual partners. Parents, young people, faith-based mentors, and all, we invite you to listen to this truthful conversation. Hosted by Nicole D. Hayes and Herbert G. Bowen, Jr.
