The Fruit of the Spirit with Pastor David A.Shaw.
Galatians 5:22-26 (NKJ)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
stoy-kheh'-o—from a derivative of steicho (to range in regular line); to march in (military) rank (keep step), i.e. (figurative) to conform to virtue and piety :- walk (orderly).
It literally means to walk in line with; it is not the same as the word used for physical walking in (Gal 5:16). To walk in the Spirit is to walk along the path that He lays down
The person who is led by the Spirit will do what is right freely, not by a sign in the road; by set of rules or by compulsion from the law.
Walking in the Spirit is a sign of maturity understanding our purpose!
The Spirit Alive Praise & Worship Experience is a virtual church where our troops stationed all over the world can come to worship, where those who are unable to get out of the house to attend a local church can come to worship, and where those who have been hurt by others in the church may come to worship, and be restored.
Message: At Peace With All Men
Text: Romans 12:14-21
Today, we will be looking at the third item on our commitment list which is how to live at peace with all men by reconciling our relationships through that very same love and forgiveness as recorded by the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:14-21
As we continue our topic of love in the life of those who love Jesus, it is important to look at how love is the foundation to acquire the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives. True love does require death; death to our flesh, death to our desires death,, but we must die to gain a better life in Christ and to receive and walk in the blessings and peace of God because we are cultivating an intimate Relation with God through Christ.
Please join us each Sunday for a Guided Meditation to bring healing energy to the planet!
With divinely aligned intentions, Planetary Healers can create miracles in healing the collective consciousness. The level of peace on the planet at any given moment is the sum total of each of our individual energies. Each of us is capable of enhancing the inner healer in us and acting as a Planetary Healer.
With our pure intention and focus we can transmit energy to change and shift the patterns of the collective energy grid that surrounds the planet. Shifting the collective energy field is not difficult, especially when we connect with our own Divine Eternal Spirit and then ask for High Beings of Light to assist us to heal discordant energy systems.
Earlier this week we discussed the adage, You are what you eat. We began looking at Galatians 5 and what takes place when we "feed" the apetites of our flesh. We continue the discussion as we look at the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5. We will focus our attention on love, joy, peace, patience, and gentleness. Join the conversation.
Hungry? Thirsty? Come eat and drink at the table prepared for you through God's word - Your Blueprint for LIFE.
We continue in the teaching on the Fruit of The Spirit.
Go to Galatians 5 and read as the Word of God puts it into context. Let's cooperate as the Holy Spirit developes the character of Jesus in us.
