Producing wins in five of their past six games and playing in what will be their third road game in the past four weeks, the Ravens – who currently stand atop the AFC North at 5-2– look to avenge a 23-16 defeat against Cincinnati in Week 1. In that contest, after fighting back to earn a 16-15 advantage with 5:46 left in the game, Baltimore was stunned when QB Andy Dalton hit WR A.J. Green with a 77-yard TD throw, providing Cincy the decisive score.
In last Sunday’s 29-7 victory over the visiting Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore jumped out to a 17-0 halftime lead and never looked back. For the second game in a row, the Ravens produced 5 sacks, including 2 each by OLB Elvis Dumervil and OLB Pernell McPhee.

Last Sunday in their season opener, the Ravens fell, 23-16, to the visiting Cincinnati Bengals. After fighting back to earn a 16-15 advantage with 5:46 left in the game, the Ravens were stunned when QB Andy Dalton hit WR A.J. Green with a 77-yard TD throw, providing Cincy the decisive score. Green’s TD came just 48 seconds after the Ravens took a fourth-quarter advantage when QB Joe Flacco connected on an 80-yard TD throw to WR Steve Smith, Sr.
The Steelers, meanwhile, outlasted the Cleveland Browns, 30-27, in last week’s opener after K Shaun Suisham hit a game-winning, 41-yard FG as time expired.

The Baltimore Ravens (2-1) return home to M&T Bank Stadium today, when they host the Carolina Panthers (2-1) in a 1 p.m. showdown. This marks the Ravens’ third home game of the season, with Baltimore owning a 1-1 mark in Charm City (23-16 defeat vs. Cincinnati in Week 1 and a 26-6 victory over Pittsburgh in Week 2).
Fresh off a hard-fought, 23-21 triumph at Cleveland in Week 3, the Ravens now have an opportunity to open the season at 3-1 for the fifth time under head coach John Harbaugh (2009, 2010, 2011, & 2012). Carolina dropped a 37-19 contest to the visiting Steelers on Sunday night and will make its first trip to Baltimore since 2006.
