Do Liberal Elites Expect Blacks to Tow the Party Line?
Project 21 member Jimmie L. Hollis, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and tea party activist joins Joe to discuss the pressures placed on the black community to conform to liberal political ideology. He says: "As long as blacks toe the politically correct line and stay within the liberal guidelines of speech and actions, they will win the approval and the smiles of the liberal elites."
At the start of the show, Gordon Gebert with the "Occupy vs Tea Party" Reality Show project stops in the give Joe an update on how the project is going. Check out the preview they've posted online.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately? There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective. Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting. But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree! If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

How To Own A home After Short Sale
Q: How can people who have had a short sale get back into the market?
Answer: As long as they meet the waiting periods required after a short sale they can qualify for a home loan again
Q: What are the waiting periods after a short sale?
Answer: That is dependent upon the type of loan that they apply for.
Q: What is the shortest waiting period available?
Answer: The shortest waiting period is 2 years and is available on a conventional loan with a minimum 20% down payment.
Q: What options do people have if they don’t have 20% down.
Answer: The next best option is FHA which only requires 3.50% down but it does have a 3 year waiting period instead of two.
Q: What should people do if they want to pursue one of these options?
Answer: The first thing they should do is have their credit checked and get pre-qualified by a loan officer before the waiting period is even reached.
Q: Why is that?
Answer: That way any errors that appear on the credit report can be corrected ahead of time.
Q: What kind of errors have you encountered?
Answer: I have seen the short sale being misreported as a foreclosure. This definitely needs to be corrected because on a conventional loan a foreclosure requires a 7 year waiting period as opposed to 2 years on a short sale.
Q; Can’t the borrower just provide proof of the short sale?
Answer: Unfortunately not. These days the loans are approved by an automated system that reads the data directly from the credit report. It there is an error on the credit report there is no way for us to override it. That is why it is so important to check your credit report and make sure that it is accurate.

The Legal Side of Concussions
Today parents, athletes and sport associations are caught up in a concussion conundrum! While education and awareness about concussions is attracting more attention, the legal path of concussive incidents is one seldom ventured or understood.
Now, policies, products, rules and the law are beginning to address the issue head on (pun intended). States, provinces and countries are looking to establish legal guidelines regarding who should be responsible for the athletes and their safety. “While the National Football League (NFL) has made several sweeping changes to its player safety regulations over the last decade, Dr. Robert Cantu, of Sport Legacy Institute, said those standards aren’t being replicated in youth football”
It’s time for the nation to wake up and demand that those in charge of full-contact youth sports be held accountable. Parents of aspiring young football players need assurance that the safety of their children, ages five to fourteen, is a priority. It may be time for parents to demand changes to the rules and policies in youth football for whenever a child suffers a head injury. Katherine “Price” Snedaker and Paul Anderson share their knowledge on how the law and how concussions can affect you and your kids. Listen or call in LIVE on Wednesday May 8, @ 7PM EST at BEYONDtheCheers on blogtalkradio. Dial-in TOLL FREE 1-877-357-2448 in Canada and United States to ask a question, or email in advance.

Black Thinkers Confused by Liberalism vs. Conservatism
I'm your host B.T. of the Black Thinker Radio Show. Call in and state your case!
A Liberal is what? Someone who believes in being liberated or free?
A Conservative is what? Someone who lives his or her life under a set of moral guidelines or principles?
One can see how the Black Thinker is confused by political labels.
So what is a guy who believes in the Constitution, the free enterprise system, but is a womanizer? A Conservative?
What is a woman who owns a growing business employing 50 employees that she started from scratch and donates money to local charities, but does not believe in God? A Liberal?
The Black Thinker, as well as millions of people who fly political party banners, are confused.
Most Black Thinkers believe in God which is a high Conservative and Democrat attribute and but Black Thinkers vote for people who do not put God high on the list in some cases. And so do white people! What do things political labels really represent?
Black Thinkers shout on the top of highest mountain about racism, but exhibit, on occasion, quasi-racist behavior when it benefits them. For example, when a black and a non-black interview for a job or promotion, and the non-black gets selected, black thinkers decry "racism".
Did the Black Thinker consider that, perhaps, the person hired graduated from the same college or belonged to the same fraternity or sorority?
Or the person hired or promoted was part of a networking group that helps their own? Why does it always have to be racism?
Hell, it could a relative...which is nepotism...but when things or circumstances don't favor Black Thinkers all the time...it is not always racism.
This show will explore the conundrums of political party labels as well as try to peel the layers of the onion with regard to the Black Thinker.
