'TMDS' tonight will be hosted by Professional Challenge Coach Deborah Berry. This special BrainInjuryRadio telecast will also see Matt Duffin, sitting on the 'other' side of his desk, as Ms. Berry "interviews the interviewer" as the former BIRN host will straighten Matt's act up with her skillful approach in the often overlooked TBI thoughts of:
"The Secrets Behind Closed Doors" - There is no Taboo...
The secrets we keep locked up behind doors, which have NOT been discussed before on BIRN. Deb digs deep into Matt's untold story and opens some hidden truths about his life, and indeed, Deborah's own life and survival.
Shhhhh!! This is sacred. Hush-hush subjects most people keep quiet, when, in fact, most TBI Survivors have alike situations and thoughts. Want Deborah to answer a Taboo question you have? E-mail her prior to Sunday at Deborah@SurvivorsPayItForward.com. Ask her to share a taboo story you are dying to understand better, or would like to see Matt squirm - have her ask him! You do not have to talk On Air, and you will remain anonymous.
TUNE IN AND HEAR THE LINE UP, as Matt will return to his desk in the later hours. Traumatic Brain Injury = TBI. TBI = To Be Informed. www.deborahberry.com and www.survivorspayitforward.com. Ah, vacation. Reservations again this year at the Milton Hilton, close to the corn waves. For the next few weeks (5-ish) TMDS will offer replays of "The Best of Duffin" (quit laughing). Not going to do nothing, except recover at ease, ride my bike, mow, have a yard sale, play Miracle Baseball, Coach Miracle Baseball, join Racer's for TBI Awareness, go Back-to-BICS-Basics, write, & celebrate my 6th re-birthday!
March 20, 2014 - LIVING A RICHER LIFE: with Vance Simms, Founder/Executive Director of Father Matters, Inc. and his wife Rana. Authors of “Brokenness Produces Pearls”
THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE: If you’ve ever heard the words, “Just wait until your father gets home,” you probably grew up in a family where you recall those moments when your dad walked through the door, home from work. Fathers are frequently viewed as the go-to parent for discipline and sound advice while mothers are the go-to parent for nurturing, sympathy and comfort. However, fathers matter more than just being the person in the family who may rule with an iron fist. In many of today’s families, Dads are not in the home at all and, too often, due to broken relationships. How can we begin the healing process when it is possible and enrich all the lives involved?
Vance, the Founder/Executive Director of Father Matters, “Fathers Mentoring Fathers”, commits himself to building stronger, healthier communities by supporting, encouraging, and enlightening today’s fathers and families. Rana serves her local community in many fashions, through her work, supporting young children and their families, and through volunteerism in church and school. Vance and Rana reside in Phoenix, AZ with their five young children.

WGAG RADIO AND HOT DAMN POLITICS PRESENT "THE GOD FATHER (NOVEL)"
The Godfather is a crime novel written by Italian American author Mario Puzo, originally published in 1969 by G. P. Putnam's Sons. It details the story of a fictitious Mafia family based in New York City (and Long Beach, New York), headed by Don Vito Corleone, who became synonymous with the Italian Mafia. The novel covers the years 1945 to 1955, and also provides the back story of Vito Corleone from early childhood to adulthood.
Forty two years after its release, The Godfather remains on our radar. The world has changed dramatically since 1972. But The Godfather still shines on our cultural skyscape, an immoveable lodestar which even four decades later tempts and thrills, and even educates.
HOT DAMN POLITICS EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 9 PM EST ON WGAG RADIO!!
Do you want to know how to go deeper with The Father? How to have a deeper relationship with HIM? Well in tonight's broadcast Pastor Maisha will share the revelation she got straight from the throne room of GOD. Here's a hint: Is GOD your daddy or your FATHER??? Think about it
Major League Baseball is in the in the midst of a “golden era” with a long and prosperous future according to commissioner Bud Selig.
Being a ballplayer and an advisor for one of the best baseball movies ever made, seems downright unfair, but Ken Berry has had the good fortune to do both. And he’s got plenty of stories to share along with many of his experiences.
Ken Berry can cover a lot of ground about baseball:
How he’s the only outfielder to make a putout at all three bases.
How he hit .750 against Nolan Ryan.
What type of baseball player John Elway would have been.
Which actors actually had some baseball ability.
Ken Berry is with us LIVE at BEYONDtheCheers on blogtalkradio on Wed. July 30th at 7PM EST. Each Friday at NOON is a repeat broadcast on AMFM247. Dial-in TOLL FREE 1-877-357-2448 to ask a question, or email in advance.
Matt Kelley clarifies remarks about Matthew Berry's 2011 Manifesto and discusses Charles Johnson hype as well as RB injuries and depth chart arbitrage.
