To say that life in the Soviet Union was very difficult is an understatement to what happened when Faina was only 16 years old. Her mother, who was only 42 herself, lost her life to cancer, and that is when the entire world changed.
After receiving her graduate degree at 22 years old, she came to the United States and her life was filled with being a Senior Principal in a large consulting firms, mentoring and coaching executives of Fortune 500 companies, which solved their business and very often personal problems. Needless to say, life was very good.
After 4 children and some 30 years later, life changed massively for Faina. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. For the first time she was facing the same disease, and everything that comes with it, her mother. The only difference was she was now experiencing all the emotional issues as well, which is something she didn't understand when her mother was going through it.
Faina spent several years researching, learning, training, and using different strategies and techniques for overcoming physical and emotional issues related to cancer. She then developed her "Getting Well, Living Big" system based on the strategies that worked for her.
