On this broadcast we will be having an interview with Executive Producer Ric Mathis about his up coming film "Black Friday: What Legacy Will You Leave"? The film and documentary will be premiering November 13, 2015 at Impact Church (2323 Sylvan Rd. East Point, GA 30344). The documentary explores why African Americans have consistently remained in the lowest percentile of America’s wealth gap, while also presenting insight on how to restore the circulation of wealth in Black communities. Topics of discussion include negative spending habits, introduction of financial literacy during early stages of development, and the absence of support for African-American owned businesses by Black consumers. Mathis says, “Black Friday is the Noah's Ark of Economics, if you are not up on this you risk drowning in a sea of debt.” After discovering the alarming imbalance of Black spending compared to economic growth among the Black community, Mathis used his expertise to educate and provoke change with the film Black Friday. The film not only targets these issues but more importantly provides solutions that can be applied for the betterment of the community. Among other prominent figures, Actor & Author Hill Harper, TV Personality Cynthia Bailey, and Grammy Award-Winning Artist & Activist David Banner will provide their insight on money management skills and maintaining economic stability. The ultimate goal of Black Friday: What Legacy Will You Leave is to inform and incite change in urban communities nationwide, hopefully helping Black families leave legacies for generations to come. Believe me this is a broadcast that you don't want to miss. 347-850-8030 is the call in number http://thefilmblackfriday.com/

1) We'll also give an update on the Laquan McDonald murder case. Officer Jason Van Dyke has been charged with 1st Degree Murder but why did it take 400 days when the shooting was on video? 2) Thursday is Thanksgiving. We'll deal with some of the history of the holiday that Dr. Ishakamusa Barashango called "Misgiving Day". 3) Former Oklahoma City Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw is allegedly intimidating witnesses during a Sex Crimes Trial where he is facing 36 counts of rape, sexual battery, etc. All of his 13 victims are African American Women. Maybe that's why there is not a lot of Mainstream Media coverage of this story. 4) This date in African American History.

Another Man’s War
The Sam Childers Story
Machine Gun Preacher Sam Childers grew up in the hills of Pennsylvania. His parents were decent, honest people but at an early age Sam started to show a knack for getting into trouble. His father, a former marine, grew fond of saying “Boy, somebody’s gonna kill you one of these days!”
A Troubled Teen
By his early teens Sam was constantly in fist fights, selling hard drugs and sleeping with married women. He continued to slide deeper into a life of violence and crime until he became a Shotgunner – an armed guard for drug dealers. It was during this stage of his life that he met Lynn, a stripper, who would later become his wife.
Unlearning a Life of Crime
Sam, haunted by his father’s words, became increasingly concerned that he was going to be killed because of drugs and slowly began to distance himself from his former life. He found a job in construction and prospered despite his continuing drug and alcohol habit. Lynn, meanwhile, returned to the Church she had forsaken as a young adult.
A Changed Man
Sam also sought to re-establish his relationship with God and began to live a clean life. Slowly, things began to change for the better. Lynn gave birth to a healthy baby girl and Sam started his own construction business. Little did they know that their greatest challenge was just around the corner.
