He received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree from Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, and a doctorate, magna cum laude, from Chemnitz University of Technology. As a doctorate candidate, he was granted a merit-based stipend by the Hanns Seidel Foundation for two-year, full-time participation in a research group on political extremism. He has since left the world of academia and, today, works as a public relations professional.

Chris Foster is a professor of philosophy at Utah Valley University and a long time advocate for animal rights and a member of the LDS church. Chris believes that from a logical perspective, killing animals causes them harm, and it is morally wrong to cause something harm unless the benefits outweigh the harm caused. He feels that raising animals for food causes more harm than benefits, and therefore killing and eating animals is morally wrong.

She is also a vegan & gluten-free recipe developer, writer, & (semi-retired) yoga teacher/fitness instructor.
