Judy is a results driven executive with 30 years of business experience as a CPA, senior executive with a public corporation, and small business owner. Her area of expertise is finance, management and business development. She has been helping clients achieve their dream of business ownership for the past fifteen years as both a regional developer and a coach with The Entrepreneur's Source.
Judy is the co-founder of WEBB (Women Empowered by Business) a nationwide organization whose mission is to promote successful entrepreneurship among women by providing opportunities and resources designed to educate, empower and enlighten them as they embrace the challenges of business ownership. She is currently on the Executive Board of WEBB and leads the charity action team. She has been the team captain of the WEBB SpiderWEBB team for the past six years; the team does the 60 mile Susan G Komen Walk for the Cure and have raised over $ 90,000 toward the cause of ending breast cancer.
In the past fifteen years she has received Coach of the Year Award, Regional Developer of the Year Awards, and was awarded Franchisee of the Year by TES and The International Franchise Association in 2005.

Kathy Richards is the owner of the TriCities’ AdviCoach business coaching franchise and is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a CPA. In this role, she works with business owners to improve profitability, teamwork and efficiencies. Kathy also currently provides guidance and financial expertise as Treasurer to Engage Kingsport, a regional arts non-profit and to St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Prior professional experience includes work at a CPA firm, as Controller and as a partner at ARK Sign Services in the DC area which she and her husband created, operated and sold a few years ago.
Kathy received the 2011 KOSBE Impact award for being a strong advocate for local business and she was named the 2011 AdviCoach Franchisee of the Year and received a Marketing Excellence award in 2012 by Franchise Source Brands International.
A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Kathy is the wife of Michael Richards and the mother of three grown children and has two adorable granddaughters. They enjoy live music, good food, indie films and fun on the water.
