“I’ve been a Caroline Sutherland fan ever since the first moment I met her in the ’90s. In fact, she fulfilled a dream of mine. At our first meeting, Caroline looked at me, clearly saw my deficiencies and nutritional needs, and on the spot designed a special plan for my particular body. I felt understood for the first time.”

Learn: What Men Need to Know About Women here!
Insecurities that make us defensive
Insecurities that make us guarded
Insecurities that make us needy
Insecurities that make us demanding
Insecurities that make us submissive… you get the idea.
“Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them”
What relationship issues do you struggle with? When it comes to your relationships, what makes you feel insecure?
Insecurities are looked at with insecurity when we ourselves are insecure. When we are not insecure about something and we see that insecurity in others, we feel compassion for where they are in life due to their level of insecurity. That sounds like a mouthful, yet our insecurities tell us and those we interact with how much experience we have and what we have learned so far in life. It also dictates how we are doing and the people we bring to our lives and the kinds of challenges we have. How do insecurities build and rebuild our souls over and over again? Why do we have insecurities and what role do insecurities play in our lives? How do we turn insecurities around and why do we spend our lives trying to do so? Tune in can Join the Conversation, Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST!

All physical manifestations of illness, broken bones, itches etc have an emotional component. This does not mean that the physical component is not real, that your symptoms aren't real or that it's all in your "imagination." What it does mean is that the emotions that you are not expressing are asking for you to release them, in order for you to grow along your journey.
Jo-Anne Eadie and Heather Masters will discuss the origins of emotions and how they can get "stuck" in your physical body. If you have a physical issue, call into the show! Jo-Anne and Heather will help you unravel the symptoms by working through the emotions through awareness, tapping and breathing techniques.
Jo-Anne and Heather have decades of experience with their own clients as well as working through their own issues. They will share what they tried; what worked and what didn't work.
How can you begin to let go of an illness, if you don't know why it manifested in the first place? Jo-Anne and Heather can help.

It seems as if black women will do anything for attention lately. Social media, especially Instagram, has made it very difficult for women of all races to feel beautiful. With all these half naked women on social media it makes the rest of the females feel as if they need to do the same in order to fit it. Its all about who has the most likes and/or comments these days. Nobody cares to look past the outer beauty anymore because society has conditioned them to believing the only ones worthy are the ones with fat asses and big boobs.
This is some shit I don’t have time for.
Women are always complaining about how they get treated by men, but these women allow men to treat them this way. Why? Because they are insecure and lost.
I want to discuss why black women feel the need to fit in when we are the ones who set the trend for the rest of the world to follow. We have to start showing these Princesses out here what it takes to look and be a Queen, its start with thyself!

The Transcendent Mind The Missing Peace in Emotional Wellbeing with Sunita Pattani
Does contemporary psychotherapy really work in healing the various types of emotional damage that many experience throughout their lives? Or is it only putting a small band-age on a much bigger problem? Author Sunita Pattani writes in her new book, The Transcendent Mind: The Missing Peace in Emotional Wellbeing, that without under-standing the connection between mind, body and spirit, we can never be wholly healed. The integration of the spiritual with the science of traditional psychology can lead to a deeper and transcendent understanding of our existence and purpose, allowing us to live fuller and more meaningful lives.
The Transcendent Mind takes the reader through the four elements of the Transcendent Healing Process, which includes the role of nutritional healing, and how healing our body can accelerate the process of healing our minds. She also discusses in length the phenomena of both near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences and why they contribute to the understanding of the nature of our own reality.
For those in the Washington DC area you have a great opportunity to see Sunita in person.
On the Thursday, the 30th of April she will be conducting The Missing Peace in Emotional Wellbeing Workshop at Alchemists Books and Gifts in Richmond VA and on
Saturday the 2nd of May she will be speaking about The Transcendent Mind - Emotional Healing: The Complete picture at The Sacred Circle Bookstore in Alexandria VA.

Do you have issues with food? Do you think you may be an "emotional eater?" What's an emotional eater?
Emotional eating is when a person uses food as an attempt to control, monitor, and cope with negative feelings or thoughts. Because emotional eating typically results in overeating, it can often lead to poor self-esteem, unwanted weight gain, and obesity.
If you are binge eating or sometimes not eating at all, learn how to recognize the triggers of emotional eating and understand the habits and causes.

Think it’s easy being a kid these days? Think again: peer pressure, social pressure, finances, bullying, divorce, standardized testing, guns, drugs, school violence, abusive adults, low self-esteem, and more. These are many of the same problems that adults face, but as adults we typically have coping skills. But even though adults have coping skills, many still have difficulty dealing with these situations. So how do we expect kids to effectively handle these situations? More importantly, how and where do kids learn the social and emotional skills they need to cope with the life challenges they will ultimately face? The lucky kids will meet Staci Ellis, a child and adult psychotherapist who specializes in trauma. Years ago, Staci created a mock brochure for her young nephew which provided advice and preparation for life challenges. From that idea, Staci developed Life Stuff for Kids, a forum for kids to express and exchange thoughts on life challenges. Kids need to know they have someone to turn to for help and resources to get them through life’s difficulties. Staci Ellis knows more than most on that subject. She began as a Therapeutic Support Staff with a non-profit, served hundreds of families as a Mobile Therapist and Behavior Specialist for 15 years, then became a Trauma Therapist working with kids and adults. She taught parents and school staff behavior management skills and provided professional training on Trauma and Children to bachelor, masters, and doctoral level attendees, and facilitated a class for separating parents called Children in the Middle. After the interview, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.
