Born in Wales, she attended art schools in both Wales and England gaining a B.A in Graphic Arts, Keele University and an Art Teachers Diploma, Sussex University, England. Elisabeth taught art in both England and The Bahamas before coming to Canada. She also worked extensively with theatrical productions, creating set and poster designs for The Birmingham Youth Theatre productions in England and for The Dundas
