Cinema Royale host Travis Hopson is joined by Jesse Eisenberg, who reveals all of the tricks in his new magician heist film, Now You See Me.
The summer blockbuster season usually belongs to Will Smith, but can he and son Jaden maintain their dominance wtih M. Night Shyamalan's new film, After Earth?
Debut novelist Deby Eisenberg hits the ground running with PICTURES OF THE PAST, an epic family and historical saga, sweeping through Chicago, Paris and Berlin, reliving events from pre-World War II Europe, but beginning in contemporary times. An Impressionist painting, hanging for decades in the Art Institute of Chicago and donated by the charismatic philanthropist Taylor Woodmere, is challenged by an elderly woman as a Nazi theft.
A story that spans decades
On the inaugural episode of Cinema Con Queso we'll be talking about the new heist flick Now You See Me with special guest Jesse Eisenberg. Then we'll move on to break down what's hitting theaters in June that you need to know about.
In the TV world we are winding down to our last two weeks of Westeros for a while as Game of Thrones draws to a close on season 3. We'll be discussing who we think will survive and what the state of the land will be. Not to be forgotten, True Blood is getting ready to start it's run so we'll be bringing you up to speed on where we left off and what to expect in the bloody season to come!
The consumer marketplace has been overwhelmingly youth-obsessed for decades, but this is about to change dramatically – and in ways that will spotlight a traditionally-overlooked upside of aging.
Baby Boomers are transforming aging. This 78 million-strong generation has unrivalled amounts of money to spend, and they control 77% of the total net worth of US households. Even though they are largely ignored by advertisers, they represent 50% of all discretionary spending power. What does this all mean?
Join host Micheal Pope for an insightful hour with Richard Eisenberg, Assistant Managing Editor of PBS’s Nextavenue.org who says, “Everybody talks about the problems the aging of America is creating, real and otherwise (stress on Social Security, older workers keep younger workers from moving up…) But some noted experts say we are looking at this all wrong.”
