Legal Issues with the New Tenure Law

    in Education

Since the 1920’s teacher tenure has been part of New Jersey’s education system and changed only slight until August of 2012 when TEACH-NJ was signed into law.  This law dramatically changed the process for acquiring tenure as well as how tenure charges are filed.  While most school administrators and school board members support the reform they need to be aware of the provisions of the law and its impact on their personnel decisions.  Please join host Ray Pinney as he discusses legal issues in teacher tenure with school board attorney John Geppert, Jr. of the law firm of Schwartz, Simon, Edelstein and Celso.

Join me Monday night to discuss Sunday's new installment of Once Upon a Time in which Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) try to find a way to send a message to Emma, who's back in Fairytale Land. What School Boards Should Know About Special Education Law

    in Education

Special education in public schools has always been a delicate balancing act between meeting the needs of the students while keeping costs within the district’s budget.  Litigation for school boards can be very costly, even if the district prevails. What steps can districts take to prevent litigation? What should they be concerned with when student placements are questioned? And how have new laws such as the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act affected special education students? Please join host Ray Pinney as he discusses these and other issues with Nathanya Simon, a school board attorney with the firm of Schwartz, Simon, Edelstein & Celso. An experienced school board attorney with expertise in special education law, she is a frequent presenter at state and national conferences.

    Calling Out The Radical Idiot

    in Politics Conservative

Once we're in enemy territory, as a bushwhackin' guerrilla army, we're gonna be doin' one thing and one thing only... attacking' the Radical Progressive Left one at a time. If need be we will go after family and friends that fund the wacko nutcases, radical progressives ain't got no humanity. They're the foot soldiers of a U.S.-hatin', baby killing maniac and they need to be dee-stroyed. That's why any and every son of a bitch we find sporting' a progressive label, they're gonna pay.
We will be cruel to the left, and through our cruelty they will know who we are; and the progressives won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers and sisters endured at our hands. The radical left will be sickened by us, and the liberals will talk about us, and the Democrats will fear us; and when the libtards close their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with.
