Eddie "twister" Bravo (10th planet jiu jitsu). Eddie is a great musician with his band smoke serpent, dedicating time with his son and he also has his own talk radio show "Eddie Bravo Radio" and he's constantly putting out jiu jitsu tutorials with his "Mastering the system" on youtube and he's always got great charisma, a smile, or a joke wherever he is. Eddie is a Mexican American Brazilian Jiu jitsu practitioner who holds a third degree black belt under the legendary Jean Jacques Machado. Eddie adapted the twister submission from wrestling and used it in jiu jitsu submissions, in which he also made an entire dvd of him in competition submitting opponents using the twister. In 2003, after winning the north american trials to get to the most prestigious grappling tournamnet ADCC, he submitted first gustavo dantas via rear naked choke, then went on to catch legendary royler gracie in a triangle choke when no one had scored a point on him at that time. Which then made him famous in the states. Most recently, he battled royler in a rematch at metamoris 3 in which most critics are saying he dominated with multiple sweeps, and a calf slice- but the bout ended in a draw. Over the past ten years Eddie has been refining his no gi style, and has over 40 schools worldwide. He is also a promoter with his new tournament ebi, which is sub only/ and im very excited to talk to him about. A 16 man jiu jitsu tournament that was recently held in L.A, Get ready for this show, were going to talk to eddie about everything, from music, to jiu jitsu to his new tournament to everything...this show is going to be the shit....We are going to be playing Eddie's music, and going over some of his techniques, he brilliantly changed the names so the students would remember the techniques better.
