Ed Ross Radio #86 Watergate vs. Benghazigate
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. The testimony this week of three senior State Department officials before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee could provide information that will blow the Benghazi scandal wide open, or will it be a dud? As reported by Fox News, appearing before the committee will be three career State Department officials: Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks; Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for Operations in the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was the regional security officer in Libya, the top security officer in the country in the months leading up to the attacks.

Ed Ross Radio #84 Combat Terrorism
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
I listened to former New York City Mayor Rudi Giuliani on Fox News after Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's capture say that Americans should leave worrying about terrorists to law enforcement and our intelligence services and just go about living our lives. I disagree, and I'm surprised that the Mayor of New York on 9/11/01 would say that.

Ed Ross Radio #87 Pres. Obama Breaking the Bond of Trust
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
The trifecta of scandals plaguing President Obama and his administration will get a lot worse before they get better, casting a paralytic pall over his second term and greatly reducing the likelihood American voters will coronate Hillary Clinton as his successor.

Ed Ross Radio #81 Wars and Popes
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
The United States has fought three counterinsurgency wars in the past half century, all of which have or are about to turn out less than resoundingly victorious. You would think America would get the hang of counterinsurgency warfare, getting it right eventually; but there are lessons American political leaders never learn.
What is the significance of this new Argentine Pope? How could this humble and simple man from Buenos Aires (Jorge Mario Bergoglio) the impact Pope John Paul II had on world affairs? It’s difficult to imagine President Barack Obama and Pope Francis working in tandem against today’s threats.

Ed Ross Radio #80 Jane Fonda Syndrome
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. Why are so many progressives attracted to socialist dictators like the late Hugo Chávez? Are they just “useful idiots,” or is it their longing for a powerful person to rule without all the constraints of democratic government so they can impose their vision of the greater good?

Ed Ross Radio #83 Who Do You Trust?
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
The most often heard argument in the ongoing gun-control debate is whether or not gun control prevents gun crime. Gun-control advocates believe it does. Second Amendment advocates argue that it doesn’t. A more cogent question when it comes to gun-control, however, is who do you trust?

Ed Ross Radio #76 Losing the War on Terror
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization: During the George W. Bush administration, Democrats and anti-war groups derided enhanced interrogation techniques (EITs) and the detention facility at Guantanamo as inconsistent with American values and a recruiting tool for al-Qai’da. Far fewer of those critics decry the Obama administration’s killing of al-Qai’da terrorists, including American citizens, with drone strikes, despite the collateral damage that is fa

Ed Ross Radio #82 Rogue States and Nuc Weapons
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
It’s time to confront the reality that the only way to prevent rogue states like North Korea and Iran from using nuclear weapons to destabilize the world is to prevent such states from obtaining them or change the nature of the governments that possess them.

Ed Ross Radio #73 Lincoln, Obama, and Hagel
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. Abraham Lincoln’s June 17, 1858, speech, upon accepting the Illinois Republican Party's nomination as that state's United States senator, was about slavery; but his admonition about a nation divided could just as well apply to 21st century America. What divides us today, however, isn’t one man’s right to own another, but government’s right to own us all. Whatever your views on Secretary of Defen
