Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. The testimony this week of three senior State Department officials before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee could provide information that will blow the Benghazi scandal wide open, or will it be a dud? As reported by Fox News, appearing before the committee will be three career State Department officials: Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks; Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for Operations in the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was the regional security officer in Libya, the top security officer in the country in the months leading up to the attacks.

Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
The only way to keep us secure from Chinese cyber-attacks or a cyber-Pearl Harbor is the same one we used and continue to use to keep us safe from nuclear tipped ballistic missiles—mutually assured destruction (MAD). The only difference is that U.S. Cyber Command wouldn’t only develop the capability to deliver a mass-retaliation attack; it would routinely hack into their networks as they hack into ours to bolster that capability and to demonstrate our capabilities and willingness to retaliate in kind.

Tags: Ed Ross useful idiots progressives socialist dictators Jane Fonda
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. Why are so many progressives attracted to socialist dictators like the late Hugo Chávez? Are they just “useful idiots,” or is it their longing for a powerful person to rule without all the constraints of democratic government so they can impose their vision of the greater good?

by EWRoss in Politics Conservative
Tags: Ed Ross gun control Second Amendment liberals conservatives
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization.
The most often heard argument in the ongoing gun-control debate is whether or not gun control prevents gun crime. Gun-control advocates believe it does. Second Amendment advocates argue that it doesn’t. A more cogent question when it comes to gun-control, however, is who do you trust?

by EWRoss in Politics Conservative
Tags: President Obama Republicans Sequestration 2014 elections Ed Ross
Conservative talk radio from the hub of Western Civilization. Democrats and the news media have made much of the “civil war” within the Republican Party. In the aftermath of their 2012 defeat by President Barack Obama, Republicans are bickering among themselves over what went wrong, who’s at fault, and how to revitalize the Republican brand. A much more serious war is taking place, however, between President Obama and Republicans that will determine the future of America. If

Conservative talk Radio from the outskirts of the hub of Western Civilization. Republican senators, faced with the prospect of either Amb. Susan Rice or Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) as the nominee for next secretary of state, have to hope President Obama will nominate Sen. Kerry. Both Rice and Kerry are technically qualified for the position, Rice by virtue of the fact that she is the current U.S. ambassador to the U.N. and Kerry by virtue of the fact that he is a sitting U.S. Senator. Tags: Ed Ross Benghazi 2012 election Terrorism Barack Obama
Conservative talk radio from the outskirts of the hub of Western Civilization. The more we learn about what happened before, during, and after the Benghazi attack, the more unanswered questions remain. The Obama administration withholds answers to those questions in the final days of the presidential election campaign. Americans have the right to know whether the intent is simply to cover up incompetence, negligence and the failure of its Middle East policy or something more. And, my call on t

Tags: Ed Ross President Obama General Petraeus Paula Broadwell elections
Conservative talk radio from the outskirts of the hub of Western Civilization. To describe most conservatives as stunned by Barack Obama’s reelection victory is an understatement. It simply defied our common sense that Americans would return the President to office given his record, the state of the U.S. economy, and the prospects an Obama second term portends for the future. All the information on General Petraeus affair with Paula Broadwell has yet to come out, but we know one thing for

Tags: Ed Ross Romney debates 2012 Obama 2012 election
Conservative talk radio from the outskirts of the hub of Western Civilization. Tuesday’s second presidential debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, was a bare knuckles brawl. Most pundits say President Barack Obama scored more debating points; American voters, however, do not score these debates by any fixed set of rules. They react to them during and afterward with their individual hearts, minds, and guts; and when the votes are tallied on Election Day, Barack Obama

Conservative talk Radio from the outskirts of the hub of Western Civilization. With a total of 70 victims (12 dead, 58 wounded), ABC News reports the Aurora, Colorado, movie theater shooting is the worst mass shooting in American history. Still, its aftermath will follow a familiar pattern. Politicians call for unity while the media focuses intensely, but briefly, on the victims, searches the shooter’s background for clues to his motivation, then turns its attention to the perennial deba
