The Baltimore Ravens (8-5), winners in three of their past four games, host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-11) for a 1 p.m. battle at M&T Bank Stadium today. Fresh off an impressive 28-13 victory at Miami last week, Baltimore is seeking its sixth playoff berth in the past seven seasons. Jacksonville, coming off a 27-13 defeat to Houston, travels to Charm City for the first time since 2008 (the Ravens won that regular season finale, 27-7).
Baltimore is in a tight race in the ultra-competitive AFC North, which is the only division in the NFL where all four teams are at least one game above .500. The Ravens, who have already played five of their six division games (a Week 17 home battle with the Browns remains),Alan & Tavares will get you set for the rest of the action around the AFC North with a preview of the Browns and Bengals as well as Steelers and Falcons.

The Baltimore Ravens (7-5), winners in two of their past three games, travel to play at the Miami Dolphins (7-5), who own a 3-2 mark at Sun Life Stadium this season. Today’s matchup is critical in the AFC playoff race with the winner taking a major step forward in possibly securing one of the remaining spots. The loser will face a steep uphill climb to make the playoffs.
Baltimore is also in a tight race in the ultra-competitive AFC North, which is the only division in the NFL where all four teams are at least two games above .500. The Ravens, who have already played five of their six division games (a Week 17 home battle with the Browns remains), are 1.5 games behind leader Cincinnati (8-3-1). Pittsburgh and Cleveland are also 7-5, but Baltimore holds tie-breakers over each team.
Despite taking a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead (30-20), the Ravens lost last Sunday to the visiting Chargers, 34-33. Behind QB Philip Rivers, San Diego scored three final-period touchdowns to secure the hard-fought victory. The Chargers converted 9 of 11 third downs (81.8%) – the best percentage ever against the Ravens – going 7-for-7 in the first half.

The Baltimore Ravens return home to host the San Diego Chargers in a battle between 7-4 teams today. Baltimore, currently riding a two-game winning streak, is 4-1 at M&T Bank Stadium this season, emerging victorious in its last four games held in Charm City. The Chargers, who have also won two-straight games, are coming off a tight 27-24 win over St. Louis last Sunday. San Diego has not played in Baltimore since 2006, when the Ravens won 16-13.

Coming off a 20-12 victory over Jacksonville last week, Baltimore is seeking its sixth playoff berth in the past seven years. Houston, which dropped a 17-10 decision at Indianapolis on Sunday, is 3-3 at home this season.
In seven all-time meetings between the Ravens and Texans, Baltimore holds a 6-1 advantage, including a 2011 Divisional playoff victory. Several former Ravens return to where their NFL careers began. Owen Daniels, Jacoby Jones, Justin Forsett and former Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak all return to Houston---Daniels and Kubiak for the first time since leaving.
