With the regular season finished, the NBA Playoffs are set to get under way on Saturday. The seeds are set, and we'll go through each first round matchup in both conferences. Outside of Golden State, does any team seem to have an easy matchup in its opening series? With how loaded the Western Conference is, it seems like anything is possible outside of the Warriors advancing.
In the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks may have the top spot, but the Cleveland Cavaliers have been the better team overall since the All Star break. Do the LeBron-led Cavs have a sweep in front of them in the Boston Celtics? Outside of Atlanta and Cleveland in the first round, like the West, anything seems possible.
There have been many stories told and retold about the Eastern Airlines Flight 401 that crashed into the Florida Everglades at 11:42 pm on December 29, 1972, killing 101 people.
The story continues that parts from the downed airliner were reused on other Eastern Planes, Specifically, the Lockheed L-1011. From there the story becomes a classic ghost tale, of ghostly figues appearing on other Eastern flights of those who lost their life on Flight 401.
Join us, at Casebook: Paranormal Radio, to discuss this story and review the idea of, 'Could ghosts be connected to objects?'
An extraordinary dichotomy exists between SCIENCE and RELIGION or east and west religious thinking.
No one in the mainstream media ever draws any attention to it. It is never discussed. Its ramifications are never considered.
Why is this particular debate never allowed to happen? Who is it that benefits from ensuring that ordinary people are never confronted with the astounding differences between SCIENCE and SPIRITUALITY AND between EAST and WEST religions?
One thing is certain: either everyone in the East / Science is going to hell, or the Western "believers" Religious are the most deluded people in history, utterly and spectacularly wrong to a degree that can only be labelled insane.
A critical question arises - was Western religious thinking ever compatible with Eastern religion and, if it was, what caused the astonishing divergence of later history, and what became of those Western religions that were once in harmony with the East?

It's tournament time.
After six months of hockey, 59 hockey teams are whittled down to 16 for the right to call themselves national champions. And with the Frozen Four in our backyard of Boston, this is going to be one of the most exciting and anticipated tournaments in recent memory.
Both Boston College and Boston University will start their runs out east, with the Eagles slotting against Denver in the Providence, RI regional while the top-seeded Terriers will play the last at-large team in - Yale - in Manchester, NH. There's a local feel to this tournament, one that could conceivably end with the Terriers and Eagles playing in the national championship.
Tune in live Wednesday at 8 PM as Joe and Shep take over BC Interruption Radio with a live version of Eastern Bias. Call in at 646-200-0446, and let your voice be heard before the teams converge on their regionals for the start of the national tournament. The Race To Boston is on!
Tonight is a free for all show. But some of the ideas to talk about that were mentioned were noobs, boobs and dildos? Show time is at 9pm eastern. Call in number is (646)-200-0190.
All-Star weekend has concluded in the NBA, and roughly 30 games remain for each team. In the Eastern Conference, the Atlanta Hawks appear to be the dominant team. Around the NBA, many consider the Hawks to be the San Antonio Spurs of the East. Should they be this highly regarded considering they are 6.5 games ahead of 2nd place Toronto but haven't done anything in the postseason recently?
After the top-six teams, the level of play appears to drop off significantly. Outside of those six teams (Atlanta, Toronto, Chicago, Washington, Cleveland and Milwaukee), should teams consider tanking? Can any of the teams outside of Atlanta make a serious push at whichever team comes out of the Western Conference?
