2MuchRadio has finally caught up with the busy CMG own Wave Chapelle.
Everything authentic. That is the tag line hip hop artist Wave Chappelle chooses to live by. Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.. Wave is determined to be a staple in the hip hop world.
Rap music has always been an integral part of his culture. Wave was introduced to hip hop music at a very young age, while still in elementary school. He comes from a family of music. A father who is a music staple in the city of Milwaukee known as “F1 Diamond” as well as a cousin who is musically inclined as well. He wrote his first rap when he was in the 5th grade. He played it for his older cousin who was totally impressed by it that he played it for his friends. He states “That rap was very elementary written to the sound of “H to the Izzo.” The response he received fueled his fire. Wave states “My dad is a legend where I’m from and he has been doing hip hop since he was 8, and he told me to take it seriously, and he wasn’t giving me a pass.” Wave stated his mom wasn’t as an enthusiastic about his career choice but she supported him. “She just wanted me to finish school” said Wave. From that moment on music was always in his head. He was always writing, so much so that he notepads full and the kitchen drawers in his mom’s kitchen. So you want to know more about Wave? Listen and call in April 2nd to talk to Wave 7pm central time.
So here we are a few days from the beginning of Spring and I am in the spring cleaning mode. How about you?
What happens when you do your spring cleaning? For me I go through closets and get rid of stuff. Clean out drawers and get rid of the detrius that we hold onto in our lives that is no longer useful. At least that's what I do. But I also make room for new things to come into my life.
That's what we are going to be talking about on the show. Making room for more. Do you have room for more? I hope so because if you make room for it it will come. Just like Field of Dreams.
See you tomorrow.
Love, light and laughter,
Tonight we will be trying to educate a little more. I know we get out of hand and far fetched at times. We are just out to have fun. So if you take yourself too seriously. Your not gonna enjoy yourself talking with us. So make sure you have on your big girl/boy drawers on. If you decide to call in and listen. We are not a child oriented type show. So be warned about listening with your kids.We will have the usual guests on the show. So come join us for some adult fun.
Business Talk features Eric Mature, Faculty with the Fine Woodworking Technology at Rio Grande Community College on January 14, 2105 at 1:00 pm
The University of Rio Grande's Fine Woodworking program prepares and enlightens students with the skills necessary to be successful woodworkers. These skills will be developed in a "hands on" experience where most of the students' time is spent in the shop building fine furniture. The program operates like a professional, custom furniture shop using machine for dimensioning stock and increasing efficiency. Hand tools are used to cut fine joinery and create the many fine details that machines can't duplicate.
The FW program design and build jigs to use with the table saw, shaper, and other machines to increase safety and production. Dovetail joinery, turning, carving, and other visual details are done by hand. We feel that learning this balance between hand tools and machinery is the key to making fine furniture.
The program offers a one-year certificate and a two-year Associate's Degree. The FW classes, along with courses in math, science, and communications greatly increase the marketability of graduates of the Fine Woodworking program.

As we move into 2015 Angels we have an opportunity and a choice whet er to CARRY AN EMPTY BASKET OR A WEIGHTED BASKET through this cycle of life.
Personally I have chosen to carry a EMPTY BASKET and that is by NOT carrying my Coffee Cup and Water with me everywhere, downsizing to a smaller purse, emptying out my closets and letting go of clothes I no longer wear, cleaning behind beds, chairs, back in corners that are not usually touched on a weekly basis or however you may clean.
It makes for one to feel much lighter, and more peaceful. And THAT, Angels makes ALL the difference in the world of how you experience life! In what ways are you able to make your BASKET lighter? Are you willing to let go of things that you no longer use? Another thing I have done is clean out my wallet, threw away old business cards and information that I no longer need. It does make a difference!
I encourage YOU to schedule some time with yourself, maybe watching TV and go through drawers, purses, wallets, phone numbers, emails, and see how you FEEL afterward! Take notice of that because that feeling will encourage you to let go even more!
