Elisa will discuss what happens to loved ones after physical death; what crossing over is like; what the afterlife looks and feels like; why communication with the other side is helpful and even what jobs spirits have in heaven.Erik's message is clear and profound: death is a transition, not a separation or an end of life and consciousness lives on. This week many news outlets and media sites are publishing Camille Paglia's interview in Salon. All three posts have thus far been a compelling read and while Paglia makes some undeniable great points and backs them up as well, it’s important for readers to take her own advice.
Paglia says its incumbent for every American to get their news from a variety of sources...Left, Right and otherwise in order to be 1) fully informed and 2) be able to extrapolate something resembling truth from the various agendas presenting the "facts."
No less true for discerning Paglia's position on a variety of subjects. She has a long history of political commentary and purports to be an atheist and a Libertarian. But scratching beneath the surface of her words, and examining context as well, may tell a different story...at least about her alleged Libertarianism.
Join us for an in-depth look at what all the interest is about and how much of what she has to say rings true.

Our first guest will be John Preston as we talk about his work with his new album YOUR WAR IS OVER and his work with Boot Campaign to give a portion of all sales to the continuing battle to promote awareness and assistance to the struggles faced by veterans and their families.
John Preston served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2004 serving with 2/7 during his deployment to Iraq in 2004, where he had his first success as a musician while still in Iraq when a song and video he had written and created for his battalion titled “Good Good America” was covered by the Los Angeles Times and became a national sensation within days.
So please join us on the air to show your support for John and all other Veteran musicians as they fight to bring awareness and assistance to issues that veterans struggle with everyday.

Remapping Your Mind: The Neuroscience of Self-Transformation through Story - Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrona & Barbara Mainguy. We are born into a world of stories that quickly shapes our behavior and development without our conscious awareness. By retelling our personal, family, and cultural narratives we can transform the patterns of our own lives as well as the patterns that shape our communities and the larger social worlds in which we interact. They detail mind-mapping and narrative therapy techniques that use story to change behavior patterns in ourselves, relationships, communities, explore studies that reveal how memory works through story, how the brain recalls things in narrative rather than lists, and how our stories modify our physiology and facilitate health or disease. Drawing on their decades of experience in narrative therapy, the authors examine the art of helping people to change their story, providing brain-mapping practices to discover your inner storyteller and test if the stories you are living are functional or dysfunctional, healing or destructive.
