Join Donna as she talks with Anna Pangrazzi - Director, Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame Anna is a long-time member of the International Organization of Women Pilot’s, The 99’s, and is active in the First Canadian Chapter having held various offices over the years. She was Governor of the East Canada Section and head of Operation Skywatch from 1985-88, a joint program encompassing the flight monitoring and photographing of land, water and air pollution in Ontario by volunteer pilots of the 99’s, First Canadian Chapter, Inc., and Ontario Ministry of the Environment personnel.
She is president of the Northern Lights Award Foundation, an organization formed in 2009 to recognise women who have made significant contributions to Aviation and Aerospace in Canada. www.northernlightsaward.ca.
She received her Private Pilot’s License in 1977, completing Commercial/Instrument Ratings in 1980, multi-engine rating in 1996 and a float rating in 2001. She accumulated extensive flying experience all over Canada and North America and founded Apex Aircraft Sales Ltd. in 1988. She became an agent for new Cessna Aircraft for Leggat Aviation Inc. and received the Robert Ames Gold CSTAR Award from Cessna Aircraft Company, for Excellence in Retail Sales.

Eva Maria Martinez embodies a lifelong passion for aerospace and aviation. A graduate of both the Royal Military College of Canada and the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering, Eva holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Management with a specialty in Aerospace. From 1993 to 2002, Eva worked as an Aeronautical Engineer in the Royal Canadian Air Force overseeing aircraft maintenance operations at 413 Transport and Rescue Squadron in Greenwood, Nova Scotia and later leading the Aircrew Life Support Equipment group at the Defence and Civil Institute of Environmental Medicine (DCIEM).
Eva retired from the military in 2002 as a Major. She is currently the Director of Program Management for Boeing Programs at UTC Aerospace Systems Landing Gear where her personal love for aviation and years of aerospace experience are put to use on a daily basis. She is also on the Board of Directors for Women in Aerospace Canada and was named a Women of Influence 2012 Canadian Diversity Champion. Eva provides leadership at every opportunity and mentors young women in the Region of Halton through the “Women as Career Coaches” programme
