America is not a stranger to "terror attacks". This country has a long history of violence brought on by domestic and foreign persons and groups. ALthough we have not experienced any major attacks since the Boston Bombing in 2013, many people believe the clock is ticking.
Today "In the Pickle Barrel" we will take a look at the history of terrorism in our country. Many may be surprised at the number and frequency of attacks and the sources of the attacks.
Jack Duffy, nationally known CEO and President of THe Man from 2063, Inc, will be joining our discussion on this topic.
Is terrorism active and stil growing?
When (will) our troops come home?
Will Obama's new plan help stop terrorism?
Will terrorism ever be dead in this country?
I hope you will join in the discussion this morning at 7AM-8:30AM EST.

Domestic Abuse for an adult is complicated and hard to comprehend and digest. How is it that an adult can be abusive to a "toddler?" They are the most INNOCENT, creatures on this earth and has a clean slate that has not been tarnished and is exposed to domestic abuse......it is INCOMPREHENSIBLE, DEPLORABLE, and most ASSININE, thing one could do to a child.
There are several videos via the internet that shows how horrific this act is deliberately perpetrated on innocent children. What can you do about it?
Who should you tell if you see it? Where can you find help for the child/children?
When should you speak up? How can you prevent it from happening?
We have resources available for you.......join us!

So now we have a terrorism comprehension gap. I don't think we know what terrorism is. Who's to Blame?
Did you think the shooting in Nevada was terrorism or patriotism?
Do you only think Arabic people can be terrorist? All brown people? Anyone?
Do you think that you have to have a bomb to be a terrorist or does displaying a semi automatic weapon also qualify you as a terrorist.
Tune in tomorrow as we answer those questions.

Domestic Abuse and the Effects of REJECTION!
The word "rejection" without any descriptive suggest alienation, isolation and pain. How does rejection from a parent inflict trauma, and pain on a child?
The supposed natural order of a mother is to love her child/children but as we see more and more in this day and time this is not always the case of a natural love for the off-spring of a parent. What can you do when you feel that your mother the person that brought you into the world "rejects" you and also by your siblings.
We are going to speak with Dr. Carolyn Sutton, Author of ' REJECTED BY MEN' BUT CHOSEN BY GOD, as she share her story of rejection.
You will hear how all along GOD has purpose for her life through it ALL. Her story will encourage and inspire you to know that GOD is always there and will bring "purpose" from your pain.
This is a very inspiring book about the author's story of rejection and resiliency! Her book is available at www.amazon.com.

How do you fight domestic abuse when you are no longer in the situation, but the situation refuses to die? Join in tonight to share your thoughts about how to shake the chains of domestic violence when it refuses to let YOU go. Call in at 347-327-9967
The most important part of resolving a problem is addressing the most imminent threat in the problem. Domestic violence is a problem with many sub-factors of damage, but the first problem is usually to put out the abuser's fire and get the victims to safety before we can begin the road to healing. Abusers ALWAYS have a story behind their role...they came from an abusive childhood where they either observed or were victims of abuse themselves, they were bullied without support, etc. For African-AMericans, not only are the usual suspects of factors play a part, but many more unique additions to the pool come into play. Join me tonight at 10:30 pm EST to address the problems behind the abusers, and discuss solutions. Call in at 347-327-9967 to join the discussion.
