WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE OF YOUR STORY AND WHY? on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

Saturday 8a.m. EST #347-996-5568 -Elizabeth Gilbert says in the September edition of the O Magazine that, "no matter what you've been through, it can become beautiful in the retelling". Mona Van Duyn says, "For what is story if not relief from the pain of the inconclusive, from dread of the meaningless?".  I find both of these statements interesting and I want to talk about.

What are you doing Saturday morning at 8a.m.  - From the confort of your home, car, gym, walk, whatever COME HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE ON ME! I'm a firm believer that we are writing our stories day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second.  The question is; what are we doing to maximize the moments and to live our best life.

The Global Leadership Summit 2015 Highlights on "ME, GOD and A CUP OF COFFEE"

    in Women

The Global Leadership Summit 2015 highlights. Join me, Randy Miller and, a few others as we share some of the moments that impacted us. It’s said that no matter where you lead, The Global Leadership Summit is a world-class experience designed to help you get better and embrace your grander vision. The 2 day Leadership summit consisted of approximately 260,000 leaders. For two (2) days we were presented with opportunities to sharpen our skills and to influence people we lead. Based on surveys from previous attendees the outcome for every leader in attendance would be one of four (4) things if not all, Significance, Teamwork, Better Leaders and Effective. I have to admit, I was impacted in all four (4) areas. Bill Hybels, founder and Senior Pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, says he founded The Global Leadership Summit with a commitment to develop and mentor leaders worldwide. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS SHOW.  The events of the last 2 days have impacted my life significantly. Hopefully, some of the information we share will impact yours. #GLS15

The Listening Project: Lessons of Life, Love and Listening to God

    in Spirituality

The Listening Project: Lessons of Life, Love and Listening to God with Christine C. Williams, PhD

The Listening Project tells the true story of a woman who decides to make an unusual and quirky deal with God to become a better listener. What starts out as a step-by-step business model approach to learn about listening to the Divine voice within, soon turns into a far more personal and unexpected journey of loss, grief, healing, and love.

An inspiring and at times irreverent book, The Listening Project makes you laugh, cry, and think about the many opportunities we have to hear God in our daily lives, especially when life gives us hurdles too big to jump on our own. As the author shares her experiences and lessons learned, readers are encouraged to explore their own unique spiritual approach to life, the ways they listen to God, and the inherent human challenges and rewards of hearing and following Divine guidance.

Christine C. Williams, PhD has spent most of her professional career as a facilitator, presenter, and consultant specializing in workplace conversations. Professionally and personally, Christine’s work is about building sustainable relationships. Her experiences with diverse workgroups motivated her to publish her first book, Working as One: Fundamental Conversations That Build Cooperation and Get Results, which supports coworkers’ efforts to talk with one another in productive and constructive ways.

I am so glad to have as my guest one of our Distinguished Contributing Authors, Jason Hunt !

As if the title wasn't warning enough, we are going to talk about our Faith and how we believe God does call us to Prepare and what is lacking in the denominational church when it comes to helping others hear that call to prepare.

Jason Hunt is the owner of Campcraft, LLC a survival outfitter and outdoor ministry located in Kentucky where he leads classes in wilderness survival, preparedness and wilderness medicine. He is also an instructor at The Pathfinder School and television host for both “Pathfinder TV” and “Campcraft with Jason Hunt”. You can learn more by visiting his website at www.campcraft.us

Jason grew up in the outdoors of Southern Indiana engaging almost daily in what nature provided as a playground, but it wasn't until after a ten year stint as a pastor that he felt God call him back into the woods for what would be perhaps the greatest adventure of his life. Jason first received his training in survival from civilian and military experts by way of his martial arts experience which spans thirty years. Jason is the author of The End Times Christian and is host of the weekly television series Campcraft airing in Louisville, Kentucky.
