Paul Chabot is a Congressional Candidate for the 31st District of California for the 2016 elections but that's not all; Paul will discuss who he is, why he's running, and what his election to Congress means for the country. These are turbulent times as the nation ponders the next 4 years and beyond, with crippling debt, an increasingly complicated and outmoded tax system, and a government that has gone astray. The nation looks to the next generation of leaders who are fully prepared to take on the challenges of tomorrow and Paul Chabot will make his case.

Join us on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. for the next edition of our podcast, America's Community Voices Network, onBLOGTALKRADIO.COM, with our special guest the newly elected representative for the Florida State House of Representatives, District 61, Mr. Edwin Narain. Since his election to office during the last election cycle, the freshmen democrat has made his debut in the Florida State House with great distinction. He was the first freshman ever elected to lead theminority caucus (unprecedented) and he was the chief sponsor of a bill that was passed into law to provide critical training to police officers to recognize the symptoms of a diabetic episode. Known as "The Arthur Green Act," this critical bill was sponsored my Rep. Narain after Mr. Green's untimely during a traffic stop in which he was suffering a hypoglycemic episode. The police officers, through no fault of their own, did not recognize the symptoms and attempted to arrest Mr. Green for erratic and DUI driving. Mr. Green collapsed and died in what was at the least a highly preventable death.

Senator Barbara Mikulski announced she wouldn't be running for a sixth term as Senator for Maryland. Then Representative Donna Edwards (MD-District 4) announced she would run, along with Representative Chris Van Hollen (MD-District 8), for the Mikulski's Senate seat. Whew! So who is going to represent Maryland's Congressional District 4 since Rep. Donna Edwards is running for the Mikulski's Senate seat? Former County Council Chair Ingrid Turner, MD State Delegates Jay Walker and Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk, Former PGCo States Attorney Glenn Ivey, and former Lt. Governor Anthony Brown have thrown their hats into the ring. That's a lot of candidates. All that matters is who the voters who reside in Maryland’s District 4 are likely to vote for, but who exactly is that? Prince George's County and Anne Arundel County Democrats, what say you? Republicans, who will you nominate?
Join PGC Blog Tuesday, April 7th at 7:30pm as Holden Wilen, award-winning investigative journalist and current managing editor of the Prince George's Sentinel newspaper, along with Neal Carter, Maryland political consultant, discuss who can win the Democratic Primary for this seat. Could a Republican win the actually seat? Call in or tweet in and tell us what you think.
"And he gave some, apostles, and;some prophets, and some evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ; Till we all come into the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man; unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."
