Today’s Discussion: Issues of Life-Blaming Others for Your Mistakes!

It’s much easier to blame others for our mistakes than to admit it’s our fault.  As long as we continue to shift the guilt of error off ourselves and place it upon other individuals who may or may not deserve it, we will not grow and learn from what we did wrong, since we fail to acknowledge that we did it!  What can we do to change this type of behavior?

Today’s Discussion:  Issues of Life Series-Find Your Own Path and Walk In It!   All of us need to seek the path that is right for us, while the road we travel may not be as glamorous and full of travelers (friends and well wishers) as others; it will eventually serve our purpose if we are to attain the goals and objectives that we have planned so that we can have good success and happiness while we are in this world, before going to the next one! (Matthew 7:13)  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

Estate Planning Tips for Blended Families

    in Legal

Preparing a successful estate plan starts with identifying the traditions, experiences and property that will be handed down to family members.  "Who" will recieve "what" is easy for most families - all assets are transferred to a surviving spouse and children.  But what if the giver is part of a blended family?  That is, the giver has a child or children from one or more prior relationships.   Is there a "fair," "equal," or "best," way to provide for a current spouse and children of the current marriage as well as children from a prior marriage?   Should each child receive the same consideration?  Will the age or relative financial condition of the children have any effect?   Can a prior spouse really be disinherited in order to provide for the current spouse and children?   The water can get muddy, but with a few planning tips, a parent's estate plan for transferring assets at death cn be made a lot clearer and easier.

  • Blending Families - "THE PARENTS" with Lady Marni Ali & Pastor Nate Fowler

    in Christianity

Obedience is better than sacrifice... God's Grace forgives our sins, but we must deal with the results of our actions. We find ourselves having to deal with the aftermath of our mistakes in our intimate relationships. By living outside of God's perfect Will for our lives, we have created a multitude of confusion from failed situations. Ex-wives, ex-husbands, "baby-daddies, baby-mommies", 'step'-parents, etc., are just some of the realities that we must find the wise course of action for blending our families. What are the guidelines? How are we to make sense of it all according to God's perfect Will? Do you show favortism to your child(ren) over your spouse?  All these questions and more will be addressed and answered for you to find peace. Join us Monday, Aug 10, 2015 for Church in the Raw, call in # - (646) 652-2912. If you have questions or comments to add during the show, just press #1 on your dial pad. ~Kingdom Blessings
