An ‘e’ in front of any word changes our expectation of that item. eBooks exemplify that point… what makes an eBook a book and what makes it ‘e’lectronic? In pK-12 most learners have expectations of how they interact with these digital assets based on their home life and their familiarity with the Internet, browsers, and dynamically generated content. Here two cultures collide… the organized structure of school and the dynamic nature and expectations of digital assets. In this show we will discuss the tug-of-war between the the market requirements and the user expectations, the changing nature of those expectations, and the evolving technical and business challenges. The discussion should elucidate some of the key issues so you know what you’re getting into when you say “eBook ’em Danno!”

Business futurist Robert Tercek says in his upcoming book Vaporized: Solid Strategies for Success in a Dematerialized World, "Digital technology will transform every sector and economic system on the planet in almost unimaginable ways."
Big data analytics are at the core of the transformation, and in many cases the means to succeed throughout that transformation. Tercek, who has provided strategic insight to Turner Broadcasting, PBS, and other digital firms, will join All Analytics Radio on Tuesday, August 18, at 2 pm EDT to discuss the role of analytics in the digital transformation.
In his book, due for release in September, Tercek explores the role that big data is playing, and how it can be an asset or a liability, how companies can optimize the use of apps, and how the Internet of Things will impact consumers.
In this show you also will learn about:
A revolution in retail
Which jobs are unlikely to be replace by robots
How companies must define their proprietary data as an asset, and utilize it

October 19, 2015. General election day in Canada. The list of offenses and overstepping authority from the Harper government is long and ever growing. A million issues and even more complaints. One of the more consistent complaints is the never ending assault on the digital rights of Canadians.
OpenMedia.ca was established in 2008 and has led the fight to protect the rights of Canadian internet users. Over 250,000 of us contributed to the Our Digital Future policy. It is all encompassing and detailed. There is a vote pledge that signifies that Canadians are aware of the abuses in the digital realm by the Harper government and there are some questions that all candidates should be forced to answer before getting our votes.
David Christopher from OpenMedia.ca joins us once more to describe the massive amount of work it took to develop the Our Digital Future policy and how Canadians can get involved. There are five principles to the Declaration of Internet Freedom. Expression. Access. Openness. Innovation. Privacy. Numerous pieces of dubious legislation like C-13, C-51, S-4 and S-8 have come down the line from this CPC crowd. Be informed and know how to counteract them and help prevent the loss of our Charter Rights and Freedoms.

Revenue Chat with Tony DUrso, welcomes Donovan Kovar, the Digital Marketing Expert. As CEO and Chief Strategist of the 24-7 Sales Agency, he manages over $1 million in advertising for successful online businesses, working with each one to reduce waste, improve conversion and increase their bottom line.
Exhibiting a high level of competence, his agency was selected to be part of Google’s AdWords Agency Program, which is something not to be taken lightly, and speaks volumes in itself. In fact, now that Donovan is on the “inside” at Google, he takes part in higher level support and tools that are not available to others. That’s a significant feather in anyone’s cap. With the online marketing landscape continuously evolving, only the fittest keep on surviving. Donovan’s expertise is high level in just about anything you can think of in terms of online digital marketing. One client received a 1300% increase overnight as an example.
From AdWords to geo-targeting; from link building to using the right keywords; from re-marketing to visitors on Facebook to conversion optimization, you could say he has a “been there, I can handle that” attitude in being able to take any company to a higher level of leads, sales and conversions.
If you have ever thrown money down the drain doing online marketing with insufficient return, this interview may just be your godsend.
