INTO YOUR CHILD: Do and Speak Life

    in Education

Is your child the Walking Dead?
The Parenting Standard:   Learn how to Do and Speak Life into Your Child.   Learn about the 7 Parenting Principles and the 4 you should feed your child daily.

It takes about 6 positive comments to neutralize one negative comment.   How many negative names do you call your child?   I would ask that question in my Parent Support Groups.  Now that’s only neutralization.  To overtake a negative comment, you need 7+ comments.

Imagine if Jesus told Lazarus he was stupid and dumb, or ask, ‘Why in the h_ _ _ are you lying there?  Instead, Jesus spoke life.  In John 5:8, Jesus saith unto him (Lazarus), Rise, take up thy bed and walk.

    Double K's Classroom Episode #13 S04

    in Sports

This week in the classroom Double K will once again be taking a look at the UFC and their upcoming PPV UFC183. This is a big PPV for UFC for many reasons, the 1st being that it marks the return of the “Spider” Anderson Silva from a broken leg to face Nate Diaz. 2nd is the rest of the card which is pretty stacked and looks to deliver. After the last PPV which was disappointing due to there being no KO’s. I don’t think we will see that but tune in on Friday Night at 8pm PST on www.Blogtalkradio.com/fouracespresents ...

Let Freedom Ring in the Classroom: State of Education Today

    in Self Help

Do you have any idea what’s going on in the educational system across the country, specifically in the classroom?  Whose teaching our children?  No child is alike!  Therefore, special attention must be directed to help elevate them to their highest potential.  Believe it or not cultural competence plays a part in the process.  A lot of emphasis is placed on testing and the national averages for fourth, eighth and twelfth grade students.  But do you know what it means or how it translates to success or failure in life.  Tonight we have Dr. Andrea Walbrook, an educational community advocate in the area of special education speak to what we can do for our children.
