Death of a Cure
Would humanitarians kill?
Steve Jackson wrote a novel about people we think are "doing the good" - finding a cure for the incurable. He calls them "the caretakers of our hope." But are these humanitarians be involved in a cruel duplicity, a personal deceit, phenomenal in its audacity, an evil means to a selfish end? Have they come to see the disease, our enemy, as their benefactor? How far would they go to protect the enemy?
Would they actually go so far as murder?
As an internationally recognized expert in several areas of high technology and their marketplaces, Steve Jackson is an internationally-known technology expert and business consultant. Most recently, he founded (along with his wife) the hugely successful independent publishing company known as Telemachus Press.
Steve is always great fun, he's a suspenseful and smart writer, and he knows more about independent publishing than just about anyone! I hope he'll tell us about the next Thomas Briggs novel.
