More than 7 million people will join their family, friends and colleagues in 900 communities across the nation to walk in March for Babies, giving hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money raised supports programs in your community that helps moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. It funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies. Since 1970 the walk has raised an incredible $2 billion to benefit all babies. Christine Garrett, State Director, March of Dimes ~West Region Iowa State Chapter will tell you how you can get involved.
