On today's show we are going to look at what is wrong with Derrick Rose thinking about his health and family after his career in basketball is done?
Tonight we go over a couple of the more interesting stories in the NBA, starting with Derrick Rose's health and Kobe Bryant's level of play over the first few weeks of the season. In coollege basketball, numerous interesting games took place today, with the Champions Classic featuring Duke-Michigan State and Kentucky-Kansas.
We'll recap those two games, talk a little about each of those four teams and run through some of the other top-25 games in college basketball. Can Wichita State win another 35-plus games this season?
Is Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls to be esteemed for his comments about his long-term health concerns or criticized mercilessly? Either way, the core show panelists will discuss why he is no different than 90% of his fellow athletes as well as respond to his comments. We will also preview week 11 in the NFL and week 12 in college football including juicy matchups between Alabama and Mississippi State along with Florida State and The U, The Homer Report and much, much more.
Derrick Rose expects to play Friday night for Team USA against Puerto Rico, which will end a six-day reprieve from actually playing basketball. He has not taken part in scrimmages at practice since playing 24 minutes in a victory over Brazil last Saturday.
Knee soreness and general precautionary reasons are what is keeping Rose sidelined, and should that really be a surprise? He has had surgery on each of his knees over the past two seasons, and it takes players time to get back into game shape when they have basically been sidelined for two straight years.
The question for USA Basketball is this: Will Rose be able to play five games in six nights, which is what their schedule calls for? If not, does it make sense to put him on the final 12-man roster?
Plenty of talk about Rose and Team USA in this interview with the Boers & Bernstein Show in Chicago on 670 The Score.
what's it gonna be?

Derrick Rose is one of five point guards in training camp for Team USA, and he is the only one who has these three things in play right now:
_ He is trying to initiate a career comeback after playing only 10 games the past two seasons after injuries to both of his knees.
_ He is the only one of the five Team USA point guards who has won an MVP award. Also, he started for Mike Krzyzewski four years ago in Turkey at the World Championship.
_ His coach, Tom Thibodeau, is an assistant on the U.S. staff and is overseing Rose's scrimmages with an eagle eye.
Columnist Bobby Gonzalez attended the first day of practice and wrote that he thinks Rose will make the final 12-man roster, along with Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving (Damian Lillard and John Wall would miss the cut. I wrote in my camp preview that I thought Rose would be the easiest to cut.
So what are we to make of Rose's strong play and strong words following the colclusion of Day One of Team USA's training camp? I discussed on the Boers and Bernstein Show on 670-AM The Score in Chicago.

Back again this week is the anointed gift of Apostle Gregory K. Ransaw, founder of Covenant Partners Ministries, Killeen, Texas. Last week's show is enough proof that he is fully equipped to continue connecting LOVE (Agape) with Wellness. Yes it is a peculiar connection, but if we're going to grow-up in "all things" as a Body into Him - Christ, we must start building everything in this life from the unchanging, unmovable, always abounding in Grace foundation of LOVE (God is LOVE). The Rose of Sharon Show is completely dedicated to Ephesians 4:15 where, each week, we "speak the TRUTH in LOVE." We provide the knowledge that generates understanding and awareness for leading life "as He (Jesus) is in this world" IAW 1 John 4:17.
You've probably heard the saying that some of 'us' are so spiritually minded that we're no earthly good. Well the TRUTH is that 'they' can be so earthly minded that the spiritual mind is of NO EFFECT. However, LOVE has the power to transition even natural things into spiritual greatness. Find out how on this week's Rose of Sharon Show. The Rose of Sharon Show is completely dedicated to Ephesians 4:15 where, each week, we "speak the TRUTH in LOVE." We provide the knowledge that generates understanding and awareness for leading life "as He (Jesus) is in this world" IAW 1 John 4:17.
