Finally, A Cure For Alcoholism
Perhaps one of the maladies that has been and still is pervasive in most societies and cultures is alcoholism. In 2009, a bold attempt to address this issue was undertaken. Dr. Roy Eskapa published "The Cure for Alcoholism" using the concept of treating alcoholism while still in continuing to drink. This technique is called the Sinclair method, named after the Dr. David Sinclair, who first developed it through an approval of a US patent issued on November 21, 1989. Dr. Eskapa showcases this technique in what is considered the most comprehensive dissertation on alcohol addiction management and recovery. In this interview, he cites first hand experience with patients gaining freedom from alcohol dependence and for most, a full recovery. The key ingredient in this process is Naltrexone, a prescription medication approved by the FDA. Dr Roy Eskapa, has been working with Dr. David Sinclair at the National Public Health Institute (Finland) since 1989 conducting research on deprivation effects and pharmacological extinction for addictions.
