SORT BY Relevancy
Friday, April 24, 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the deportations in Western Turkey which resulted in the genocide of the Armenian people. Over the next nine months nearly 1.5 million men, women and children were either brutally murdered, starved to death or else forced to march across a parched desert to their almost certain extinction, by Turkish gendarmes and their accomplices at the behest of the Turkish government. This event, one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th Century, has been recalled in countless books , articles and documentaries and its veracity is without question. Yet to this day, the Turkish government refuses to recognize this massive human rights crime, let alone apologize for it and most world governments have stonewalled any attempt to build a universal recognition of the events of those months. This conference will seek to investigate the motivations behind the genocide, the extent of the massacres and the reasons the world has largely failed the memory of the innocent victims.
Healing for Damaged Emotions Part II /Mental Illness, Co-dependency, Bi-Polar disorder, Depression etc.
According to the News the Lafayette Shooting was a result of mental illness; the headlines continue to soar, marriages suffer, families are torn apart and unfortunately with some court decisions others feel helpless! Mental illness doesn't have a face and denial won't make it go away! It is imperative that we continue to increase public awareness so that true healing, deliverance, and recovery can began. Our guest Verily Harper Licensed Professional Counselor will share with us valuable information to aid us in that process.
No matter the size of the baggage, we all have it and it will affect the way we are in new relationships. Dating and relationships can be frustrating and, often, downright painful. What single hasn't dreamt of a fairy dating coach swooping in to help her let go of baggage and find the happy, healthy relationship she craves?
Practice releasing regrets: When a relationship ends, it’s tempting to dwell on what you did wrong or what you could have done differently. This might seem productive—like you can somehow change things by rehashing it. You can’t. All dwelling does is cause you to suffer. When you start revisiting the past in your head, pull yourself into the moment. Focus on the good things in your current situation: the friends who are there for you and the lessons you’ve learned that will help you with future relationships.
Let yourself feel: Losing a relationship can feel like a mini-death, complete with a grieving process. First, you’re shocked and in denial. You don’t believe it’s over and you hold out hope. Next, you feel hurt and guilty. You should have done things differently. If you did you wouldn’t be in this pain. Then, you feel angry and maybe even start bargaining. It would be different if you gave it a second go. You wouldn’t be so insecure, defensive, or demanding. Then you might feel depressed and lonely as it hits you how much you’ve lost.
Almost without exception -- all of us are addicted to something. You may say, "Not me! I have no dependency on alcohol or drugs... I don't overeat or smoke... I have no issues with gambling or overindulgence in sex, so how could I be an addict?"
In fact, most of us have at least one addiction, whether we know it or not. The reason we may not know we are an addict is that the definition of addiction is really way too narrow in scope. I believe that anything we are dependent on to give us a payoff is a form of addiction. The ego knows no boundaries in creating all kinds of addictions because the world of physical senses is the ego's playground.
On the program I will explain the many ways we create our addictions and I will offer some solutions to overcome them. And also -- I'll tell you about my own personal addiction that nearly killed me.
And don't forget...if you have a dream you would like me to interpret, please call in during the show.

Prayer with the Prophets!
Let's pray like: Jesus, King David, Daniel, Prophetess Anna, Paul and Silas and you!
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Let us pray until we have the answer!

Some at Corinth denied the resurrection of the dead ones. In this study we address their denial in an effort to demonstrate the nature of the resurrection. A great divide exists among those who believe the text discusses physical or the biological resurrection of bodies rising from the tomb.
In this study we will examine some of these reasons and show thatt theey do not support the language of the text. Our goal is to lay a foundation upon which the listeners can build to complete their individual study.

When we are drinking, we may find ourselves mired in dishonesty. This can be subtle or extreme. We may try to cover up our drinking and tell lies or exaggerations to avoid consequences, responsibility, or conflict. Dishonesty is at the root of denial including telling ourselves we can safely drink when we have evidence to the contrary. Lying may even become a habit as we hide from our addiction to cover up our true mental and emotional health to protect our ego, reputation, self image.
Choosing sobriety may be the first truly honest thing we've done in awhile. On this episode, we talk about how honesty has shaped our recovery, the choices we have to make to get and stay sober, how our definitions of honesty have evolved, and how dishonesty figures into the 11 stages of relapse if we let it.

"the daily complaint"
Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.
I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need. The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.
We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!
We hope you enjoy the Show...
