FIND OUT WHAT VITAMIN AND MINERAL DEFICIENCY CAUSED YOUR DISEASE!

    in Self Help

Dietary deficiencies are disorders that occur because of a lack of essential nutrients in the diet, or because the body cannot absorb and process those nutrients once they are eaten. Most dietary deficiency diseases are caused by a lack of protein, vitamins, or minerals.

The recommended daily amount (RDA) of a nutrient is determined by how much the body needs to stay healthy. Nutrients can be obtained in a variety of ways—from eating a varied diet to taking vitamin supplements.

A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body doesn’t absorb the necessary amount of a nutrient. Deficiencies can lead to a variety of health problems, such as problems of digestion, skin problems, stunted or defective bone growth, and even dementia.

Join me Janice Clarke, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant, Reiki Practitioner and Host of THE SOULFUL HEALING TALK SHOW, to discuss the different types of Nutritional Deficiencies and the mineral and vitamin needed to correct the issue.

Vitamin D3 to the Rescue – Beyond the Label

    in Health

Before the year 2000, very few doctors ever considered the possibility that you might be vitamin D deficient, however, as the technology to measure vitamin D became inexpensive and widely available, more and more studies were done and it became increasingly clear that vitamin D deficiency was absolutely rampant.  Vitamin D deficiency is incredibly common in the US but many Americans mistakenly believe they aren't at risk because they consume vitamin-D-fortified foods (such as milk). There are very few foods that actually have therapeutic levels of vitamin D naturally and even fortified foods do not contain enough vitamin D to support your health needs

Some signs that may indicate you are at risk of Vitamin D deficiency are: you have darker skin, you feel “blue,” you are 50 or older, you are overweight/obese/have a higher muscle mass, your bones ache, you have a sweaty head, and/or you have Gut trouble.  A new study has found that an insufficient level of vitamin D in older adults doubles the risk of Alzheimer ’s disease. But it’s not just older folks who aren’t getting enough of the sunshine vitamin; most kids don’t get sufficient amounts either.

What is vitamin D? Why is it important? Why aren’t people getting enough? And what are its best food sources? Join us on HEALTH OUTSIDE THE BOX to learn answers to these questions, what to do about it and MORE!

    SYMPTOMS OF NUTRITIONAL IMBALANCE

    in Health

Please join me for a discussion on the various symptoms so many are experiencing as a result of nutritional deficiency. Clients are so surprised when they learn things such as lower back pain may in fact be a result of stressed kidneys and that chiropractic adjustments actually do not hold if there is a deficiency creating the structural misalignment.

So many clients have spent years chasing their tails, googling their symptoms to learn that they have a deficiency in something then purchasing that product only to realize they are still symptomatic.  There is an explanation for all of this and you can do something about it.

Symptoms are the warning signs before disease.  You can restore homeostasis with right nutrition if you only know how.

Join me tonight, call in with your symptoms and let's talk about what can be done to correct the imbalance and restore the body back to homeostasis.  I welcome your calls and look forward to talking with you tonight.
