The Grand Scheme of Things~
THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY meets
"Stranger Than Fiction," in which two humans are accidentally sent to another universe and land in the middle of a story that is being written by a supreme being who has just come out of one of history's longest bouts of writer's block.
The author, Bill Friday, decides that his novel will play out on a giant ball of dirt that he calls The Earth, which, in his language means ‘profit making business venture.’ The presence of the two humans on the barren planet, however, has dramatic and historic consequences for The Earth, and
their existence threatens to ruin, not only the entire plot, but possibly Bill's career as well.
“Clever, insightful, and delightfully deranged, THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS takes our universe and imposes gravity upon it, so it can be turned upside down. It is an enjoyable story about someone who is unfit to be creating life—a cool comeback comedy that competently combines cosmological conjecture, courageous career courses, and coping with creative commons conflicts.”

Fighting for Freedom in America: Memoir of a "Schizophrenia" and Mainstream Cultural Delusions~
When anonymous mental health worker Clyde Dee finds himself working in a Section 8 housing project that is notorious for drug dealing, he mysteriously is compelled to break the codes of standard drug war conduct. Uncanny threats and coincidences and desire for justice drive him to question the pillars of his profession and his own wellness until he decides to go off a low dose of anti-psychotic medication. Stopped by police in an effort to exit the country, Clyde is incarcerated in a State Hospital psychiatric ward for three months and released to the streets.
Unlike other success prototypes such as John Nash or Evelyn Saks, Clyde's story reveals both the innards of Schizophrenia and how a person can learn to make peace with the forces that are following them around. Clyde is able to overcome homelessness, underemployment, and harassment with family support and morph into someone who is fighting to gain attention for his successes in treating others who are in the throes of a "psychotic" episode.
This is a rhyming story about a bully named Mike,
Who none of the other kids really did like.
Because of him, they were all so scared,
But Mike just laughed and did not care.
What happens as the story ends,
That made Mike want to have some friends?

The Circle: How the Power of a Single Wish Can Change Your Life~
One carefully crafted wish can serve as a match that ignites lasting change in your life. With Laura Day’s brilliant book, The Circle, readers will learn how to develop their inherent intuition and to create everything they want in their lives. Dreaming about the future does not need to remain a mere fantasy; thinking about the things you want brings them into the present moment and allows you to make room for them to flourish in your life. Laura Day’s instructions are simple, yet profound: “Pretend that your wish has come true. Feel your ‘New Reality,’ taste it, smell it, see it, think it, remember it, hear it.” When you hold an intention in your mind and in your heart, you are inviting it to come into your life. You’re actualizing it. You’re making its presence known to the universe. You’re making it happen. You’re ready.
BATS AND BONES~
Bats and Bones is IPPY award winning author Jeffrey Hickey's second work for children. This collection of spooky tales for middle school aged children and above is a subtle masterpiece of fright and emotion. Hickey wrote all the stories, the lush music, and does all the voices for the audio book. His wife, Karen Kiser, contributes the cover art, along with some penny whistle and a little piano. The inside illustrations, layout and design are by Rachel Betz, who also designed Hickey's first work for children, Wages Creek.
Look up the word "Troll" and you will find two meanings. The first is the Scandinavian legend concerning hideous creatures whose life revolves aroung vexing humans and who turn into stone upon contact with sunlight. The other definition is to fish using a hook and line that is pulled through the water. Trolling on the Internet combines the worst of these two meanings, by creating hideous comments and untruths about human beings that are then pulled along by the sheer momentum of social media. In short, online trolling is the most vile form of yellow journalism yet devised. Unlike traditional yellow journalism that can be dealt with in court by overturning the slander and broadcasting the facts, online trolling can be difficult to defeat since the slander can snowball to take on a life of its own. In a number of cases, trolling has been employed to cow or even stifle a journalist's right to free speech. It has also transmogrified free speech into an insidious form of cyberbullying that threatens to undermine the rights of anyone who goes against the grain. If you want to protect your freedom and keep from being hooked by these vile creatures, shine a light by making sure you tune into this episode of Working the Web to Win. you can also read about on our blog at this link - http://workingthewebtowin.blogspot.com/2016/02/are-trolls-taking-control-of-internet.html

I have the Panthers winning 23-16. It think it goes down to the last series and the kickers are involved. A few days ago I thought this might be a blow out, but as I looked further I think it is going to be a good one. I am still worried about the Denver defensive injuries -- even though reports say they played at full speed. Overall, I think the Panthers are loose. I think they are a better team but I think the Denver experience keeps them real close. Who you got?
