If not dealt with, life failures can put people into a paralysis state of mind. It’s important to know that life will deal you many different kinds of hands, some are good and some are bad. Join me and my Special guest, Pastor Nicole Griffin as we discuss her new book “Triumphant, The New Me” and what propelled her to write a book on helping women to get past their failures.
Nicole is no stranger to heartache, tragedy, abandonment and shame. She was raised in the housing projects in the inner city “slums” of Louisville, KY. She saw more violence, drug dealing, and scandals before the age of 12 years old than most people see in their entire lives. After her first year of college, Nicole’s mother (the only parent she had ever known) died of a massive heart attack in her late 40’s causing her to feel deserted and discouraged. Her life went downhill from there as she searched for love in all of the wrong places to fill her void. She experienced sexual, physical, mental and even spiritual abuse. Her early learned faith is what gave her hope that one day God would change her life and make her a beacon of light for other females. She did not accept the victim mentality, but went on to become a Holy Ghost filled, fearless Christian and business leader, obtained several undergrad college degrees as well as a Master’s Degree in Ministerial/Pastoral Leadership from Wesleyan Seminary. Now as a pastor and motivational speaker, she has the opportunity to speak to thousands of women across the nation to help them understand that they are “greater than their failures”.

Dealing with certain people day after day can be incredibly frustrating, don’t you think? Especially because you consider yourself a easy going, team player, and you’ve always figured you could get along well with all kinds of people. That was until that one day. It could be a number of things you can even find that have to work with them. They’re the people who often are uncooperative, uncommunicative, uncompromising, rude – and just plain unpleasant at times. They’re the people who probably flunked or did not attend “works well with others class” and it shows on their grade-school/life report cards. In short, they’re difficult people, and we all know who they are.
Aren’t you tired of the stress and aggravation that difficult people are causing you?
No one needs to remind you about the stress these kinds of people can inflict on you – you may have experienced it just this morning! It’s not fun at all. Worse, it’s unproductive. And the really frustrating part is that there just doesn’t seem to be a thing you can reasonably do about your situation.
Don’t you wish those infuriating people would just go away? That’s about as likely as a bad toothache just fixing itself.
Chances are you know someone who is controlling, always has to be right, stubborn, argumentative, and the list goes on and on. It may be a boss or coworker, a close friend or family member or even church members. We all have that one person that just gets under our skin. No matter how hard we try, it’s often difficult to get along with them consistently.
Today we'll discuss ways to deal with them and how your response to their actions matters.

When someone you love dies it is a piece of you that is taken away, and you never get that piece back.
With great loss comes great love, care, thoughts, and intense feelings that we learn to deal with.
Tonight's show is about Dealing with Death, but talking about our loved ones. Sharing and remembering them. Bringing honor to their memories, having joy in talking about them, feeling how good it was to have them, and to continue to love them even though their physical presence is no longer.
