After losing to Duke last weekend, it's back to the drawing board once more for Steve Addazio and the Boston College Eagles. Now at 3-2, they face a pivotal game when they take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at home on Saturday.
Five games into the season, the Eagles are facing so many unanswered questions in the face of mounting injuries. The defense is playing out of its mind, but the offense seems stuck in neutral or, at times, in reverse.
Much of the discussion revolves around the quarterback position. Troy Flutie and Jeff Smith now have two weeks' worth of game experience under their belt, and we still don't know who the full-time signal caller should be. One thing's for sure - we will see two quarterbacks on Saturday.
In order to get into the mind of the coach and go through the progressions of the quarterback mind, we need to pick the brain of an actual quarterback. For that, we turn to one of the all-time Eagle greats - Brian St. Pierre.
Brian St. Pierre was arguably the greatest high school quarterback in the state of Massachusetts. Matriculating to Boston College, he played as a redshirt freshman, rotating in as a sophomore, before becoming a starter in his junior year. Following his BC career, where he finished as a top five passer in school history, he was a fifth round choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Now the head coach of St. John's Prep High School, St. Pierre has the task of tutoring young minds to gear up for Friday Night Lights. In his second year as head coach at his alma mater, he's already led SJP to the Division I North Final and has the team poised to replicate last year's success with a 4-0 start and top five ranking in the state of Massachusetts.
So tune in at 8 PM ET and give us a call at 646-200-0446 as we load up on quarterback talk and get ready for #TheRivalry on Saturday!
Rob discusses his observations of Wake Forest's spring practices and spring game. He is joined by Les Johns of Deacons Illustrated. The two will break down an early depth chart for this year's football team.

One of ACAC's most impressive and least talked about ministries is the work by their deacons, who every year minister to hundreds of people in the congregation who have pressing financial needs. The deacons administer and oversee $200,000 every year that is distributed efficiently and effectively to those in need. Today Sam Carlson, current head of the ACAC deacon board, joins John to talk about the work done and the procedures followed by the deacon team as they do their work in the church.
#TheRivalry week is here.
After a disappointing loss to Clemson last week, the Eagle retake to the road at 4-3 to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem. We'll have all the coverage kicked off this week, but we'll get into the X's and O's of what to expect with our weekly coverage of the BCI Radio Show!
Dan and AJ will return at 8 PM, joined by the boys from Blogger So Dear, to profile the Eagels and Deacs game on Saturday afternoon. They'll discuss how Wake Forest could pull out a potential upset, and they'll discuss at length some of the factoids about this Boston College team. They'll also look into some of the hockey and basketball goings on as the boys of winter get started with their games.
Tune in and be sure to not miss another episode of our weekly show! Call in at 646-200-0446 and let your voice be heard!

The Total Tutor Neil Haley and Coach Karen Hall will interview All-American Wake Forest Basketball Star Alvis Rodgers.
Rogers began his coaching career as an assistant for Greensboro Day School (1989-91), where he helped the program to a state title. He then went on to coach at Pittsburgh's Carlynton High School (1992-93) before taking his first collegiate position at Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C. (1993-94).
A graduate of Wake Forest, Rogers earned Freshman All-America honors following the 1978-79 campaign and was the runner-up for the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year. A member of the 1980 All-ACC team, Rogers was named the Demon Deacons' Co-Most Valuable Player and led his squad to two NCAA Tournament appearances as well as the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
On this broadcast Minister Derrick Holder is going to bring you into a greater understanding of the love of God and the love we are commanded of God to have for one another. Speaking in tongues is not the penacle of success for the follower of Jesus. You can have prophetic powers and know and understand mysteries, secret truths, but if love is missing you don't really have anything. You can serve on the soup line meeting the needs of the poor but if love is absent, then you might as well be absent because without love your gifts do not bring God any honor. Tune in every Saturday at 12:00 Noon (Eastern) and grow in the word of God and knowledge of His will with Minister Derrick B. Holder.
JIMMY CARTER quits church because they "use Bible to subjugate women." Does Bible teach women are to be subservient to men? Is this healthy? Richard & comic Brooke Arnold debate woman-hating fundamentalist Rev. Daniel Hyles, head of B.O.W. (BIBLICALLY OBEDIENT WOMEN). Callers include an apostolic female preacher, a transgender woman, a Hollywood actress, & an agnostic. Hyles is "dedicated to change women's roles back to 'obedient wives.'" Hyles comments on President Carter's decision today to leave the Southern Baptists. "B.O.W. stands for 'Biblically Obedient Women," Hyles says. "Women are to submit to man as unto God, & call him 'Lord,' as Sara did Abraham. Carter is headed for hell unless he returns to teaching the Word that women must bow."
President Carter's statement that will be discussed on show reads as follows:
"Women & girls have been discriminated against for too long in a twisted interpretation of the word of God. I HAVE been a practising Christian all my life and a deacon and Bible teacher for many years. My faith is a source of strength & comfort to me, as religious beliefs are to hundreds of millions of people around the world. So my decision to sever my ties with the Southern Baptist Convention, after six decades, was painful & difficult. It was, however, an unavoidable decision when the convention's leaders, quoting a few carefully selected verses & claiming Eve was created second to Adam & was responsible for original sin, ordained that women must be "subservient" to their husbands & prohibited from serving as deacons, pastors or chaplains in military service."

The Kingdom Institute is the After-Church Church where Leaders rediscover the Kingdom priniciples, the mysteries that have been hidden, the very secrets that make them to be able ministers of the New Testament.
Without the knowledge of the doctrine of God as preached and demonstrated by the Messiah concerning the Kingdom of God it is impossible for any apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher, Bishop, deacon, elder, Bible teacher, professor or anyone else to be an able minister of the New Testament, making priority what God made priority according to Matthew 6:33.
At The Kingdom Institute people from all walks of life are gathering to experience the truth of the Kingdom. They are receiving their identity back and discovering God's original purpose for mankind. Leaders and the people are being reconnecting to the glorious majesty of the King and His Kingdom purpose for everyone that would believe. Join us for the After-Church Church, The Kingdom Institute.
