Award-winning actress Montego Glover is currently recurring on the hit Fox show “The Following,” as well as “Hostages” (CBS). Glover last starred on Broadway as Felicia Farrell in the Broadway musical, “Memphis” (Tony winner Best Musical) for which she received a Tony Award Nomination for Lead Actress in a Musical as well as a Drama League Nomination and won both the Outer Critics Circle Award and the Drama Desk Award for her performance.
A graduate of Florida State University with a BFA in Music Theater, Ms. Glover made her Broadway debut in the roles of Celie and Nettie in “The Color Purple.” She has been privileged to travel around the country performing at the Geffen Playhouse, La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle’s 5th Ave Theatre, The Huntington Theater and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, among many others. Favorite roles include Sarah in “Ragtime,” Lorrell in “Dreamgirls,” Hermia in “A Midsummer's Night Dream,” Aida in “Aida,” for which she won an IRNE Award for Best Actress in a Musical and TiMoune in “Once on this Island,” for which she received a Helen Hayes Award Nomination. Ms. Glover has also enjoyed concert work around the country and in New York. Her credits include: the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the prestigious Smith Center in Las Vegas. She has appeared on television in: “The Following,” “Hostages,” “Smash,” “Golden Boy,” “The Good Wife,” “Hostages,” “NYC 22,” “Law and Order,” and “Made in Jersey.” Commercial Campaigns include: Charmin, Subway, Verizon, Wishbone, Nickelodeon and McDonald’s.
