Celebrate Dan's Victory Ride
Support TBI Rehabilitation Research at Kessler Foundation
After his injury, Dan relearned the basics that most of us take for granted—walking, talking, and reading at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. He worked hard to regain his ability to think, learn, and remember. His therapists at Kessler Institute used intensive therapies, many developed by the scientists at Kessler Foundation.
With the support of our donors, we at Kessler Foundation make a direct and profound impact on the lives of people like Dan—people disabled by diseases and injuries of the brain and spinal cord. Our breakthrough research improves cognition, mobility, and long-term outcomes. Our funding of disability employment initiatives provide access to job opportunities, education, transportation and job training.
Dan's story is just one example of how your support can improve the lives of people with disabilities. Celebrate Dan's victory ride by making a gift today—a gift that will help others gain independence. Every dollar of your donation directly supports our misson to change the lives of people with disabilities.

Today we speak with Jason Cohen, musician and founder of Unifier Festival, about the importance of setting space for genuine human connection and creative expression, visionary culture, and music as medicine.
Unifier Festival is held in Tolland, MA, June 11-14, 2015.
BIO: Jason Cohen, the creator of Forestdance, Sacred World Interdependence Day and founder of Unifier Festival has experienced numerous healing and expressive arts rituals around the world.
His knowledge, experience, sensitivity and training as a ritual facilitator and his life long pursuit of exploring passion and subtlety in music, has led him in service to spark and curate the Unifier Festival Gathering.
Forestdance at the root of the Unifier lineage has taken place in 7 US states and in Costa Rica! These are powerful transformational ritual gatherings designed to bring people into their full power through the process of burning off symptomatic energies, coming fulling present, and balancing heart, mind, body and spirit inside and out of the sacred fire circle. When not facilitating one of these gatherings, Jason often is composing and performing with his musical projects Incus and Sacred Side Project, or directing events for the heARTbeat Collective in Jamaica Plain, MA. His latest endeavor is called Unifier Festival, a larger healing and expressive arts festival with a mission that includes bringing people together to create a community owned Land Trust. Jason is a community organizer deeply committed to creating spaces where people can become empowered and inspired.
Jason has held ceremonial space and studied with many blessed teachers, and takes much of his inspiration from his humble and direct connections to nature and his ancestors.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Daniel Blanchard.
Dan Blanchard the Award Winning Author, Speaker, Educator two-time Junior Olympian Wrestler, and two-time Junior Olympian Wrestling Coach grew up as a student-athlete. However, Dan admits that as a youth he was more of an athlete than a student. Dan has now successfully completed fourteen years of college and has earned seven degrees. He teaches Social Studies in Connecticut’s largest inner-city high school. In addition, Dan is a Teacher Consultant for the University of Connecticut’s Writing Project. He was chosen by the American Federation of Teachers as their face and voice of educational reform. His third book of the Granddaddy’s Secrets series, Feeling Strong! will be out next year. Episode 2456 - Home away from home and eternity in glory - Joseph Cohen
DANIEL CARROLL THE CATHOLIC FREEMASON PATRIOT
After the 'Great Work' of separating themselves, and gaining independence from British rule was accomplished, it was now necessary to form a suitable government for the new nation that would provide its citizens the guarantee of civil and religious liberties; which had been the real purpose of the Revolution from the start. The "Confederation of the United States" had served its purpose during the war, but all agreed, it had numerous shortcomings. So on 25 May 1787, the Federal Constitutional Convention was held at Independence Hall in Philadelphia to draft a new constitution, with George Washington chosen to serve as its President. It was recorded, "This began the meeting of one of the greatest sessions of wise men in the history of the world". And two men, Thomas FitzSimons of Pennsylvania and Daniel Carroll of Maryland, were among those 'wise men' representing their Roman Catholic constituencies.
Daniel Carroll, brother of Archbishop Carroll, was politically, in his time, one of the most influential men of his native State, even though his illustrious brother and cousin Charles, somewhat overshadowed his fame. Daniel Carroll had been a member of the Continental Congress, of the Maryland Council, and of the Maryland Senate, which at one time he was its president. As a member of the Continental Congress, he took an active part in the negotiations for the French alliance. After the Constitution of the United States had been framed, Daniel Carroll returned to Maryland, where by his efforts, the American Constitution was adopted by that State.
