Confidence. It’s highly coveted and often elusive. We dedicate time and energy to cultivating the feeling so we can tap into it when we need it at work, on dates, during tough family conversations, and more. Sir Edmund Hillary, first man to reach the summit of Mount Everest, famously said, It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves. The dictionary defines confidence as having a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something; feeling certain that something will happen or that something is true. Therefore, confidence is not simply a feeling that things will go well but also a judgment on our own or others' abilities. When the abilities in question are our own, having confidence suggests a high level of self-assurance. Confidence is often the only difference between people who get what they want and people who don't. Those who think and believe they can do something, whatever it is, just do it. Our mind is a powerful tool, and the impact of our thoughts and words cannot be underestimated. Our thoughts create our emotions. Our emotions create our actions. Our actions create our life. Confident people have more control over their minds and have tuned their mental station to Yes I Can. Life Coach Jenn A. Nocera and I will discuss some effective ways to cultivate confidence and examine habits of confident people. After the show, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.

Join my special guest today, the Life Cultivator:Tanisha A. Cunningham who, has a strong passio to help others create a lifestyle of continued growth in order to achieve unlimited success both personally and professionally. Tanisha is the author of the highly anticipated book, “A Rose Can’t Grow in a Garden of Weeds”. In her book, she uses her own story to inspire and teach others how to find success through positive thinking and implementation. Being raised in New York City’s government foster care system the odds of having a successful life seemed against her. While being unprepared to live independently at the age of 19 and with no family connections she headed off on her own with a mission to make something of her life.
Constantly evolving, she has achieved success despite her unfortunate childhood, battling a life-threatening illness, overcoming a turbulent marriage, and becoming a single-parent all while trying to find her purpose in life. She has had a remarkable journey from being completely broken in spirit, to being a blossoming rose whose mission is to cultivate the lives of those who have allowed the weeds of life to hinder the process of growing and having the life they desire.
Remember, "We are powerful, and we rise!"

Constantly driven by the need to safeguard our survival we often find ourselves caught in a conflict with our situation, environment or our loved ones. Every day we deal with this conflict between isolation and acceptance. We endure arguments, fights, differences, separation, helplessness, abuse, exploitation and violence. These painful experiences are often not erased from our mind stream. They remain lodged in our psyche causing us to keep attracting more of the same.
Cultivating and practicing unconditional forgiveness can lead us to accepting life and people with all the arising contradictions, as a result of which we gain equanimity and lasting peace, ending the perpetual cycle of our suffering.
In todays show Paula and her partner Rashminder Kaur who are the creators of an eight module program: Karma Completion, Finish What You Started, will examine how to cultivate forgiveness toward others. They will also share a Buddhist Meditation called Loving Kindness followed by ‘Tonglen with Others’ which fosters forgiveness and allows us to shift our perspective by releasing past memories and embracing people and situations as they exist.
HOST: Paula Horan Ph.D. (LaxmiDechenWangmo), is an American psychologist who lives in Asia. A Reiki Master for twenty five years and an author of eight books on meditation, alternative health, and non-dual awareness. Her new book Fierce Innocence, which conveys the wisdom of her Jnana Yoga retreats in fostering a radiant self-confidence, is now available at amazon.com/author/paulahoran.

Jesus Christ is the Food everyone needs for the Journey:
See we really need to understand that God is love. His whole nature and perfection is love, living not for Himself, but to dispense life and blessing. In His love He begat the Son, that He might give all to Him. In His love He brought forth humanity that He might make us partakers of His blessedness. Christ is the Son of God's love, the bearer, the revealer, the communicator of that love. His life and death were all love. Love is His life, and the life He gives to us. He only lives to love, to live out His life of love in us, to give Himself in all who will receive Him. Just receive salvation, salvation is love. The very first thought of the true Vine is love -- living only to impart His life to the branches. We are those branches according to John 15. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love. He cannot impart Christ's life without imparting His love. No wonder that Christ said: "A new commandment I give unto you"; "This is my commandment" -- the one all-inclusive commandment -- "that ye love one another."

Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen and guests Jeff Rasley & Dolphin and Susan Kasper
In his 7th book Jeff Rasley continues his search to find, explore, and explain authentic community. Pilgrimage: Sturgis to Wounded Knee and Back Home is a very personal Memoir in which the author traces his roots to the bloody massacre of the Sioux at Wounded Knee. He deconstructs a local myth of his childhood in Goshen, Indiana about an Indian attack on the town, which never occurred. And then compares his experience in working with the Rai people in the Nepal Himalayas to the genocidal treatment of the American Plains Indians by his ancestors. It's all about finding meaning in the deep connectedness of human community.www.jeffreyrasley.com
The unique foundation of Evolve Now’s work, The Art of Remarkable Relationships, has been developed and is facilitated by Dolphin and Susan Kasper, a mother and son team, who bring a unique depth and connectedness to the work of human evolution. This Art is a powerful vehicle in unlocking our innate ability to cultivate more connected, meaningful and authentic lives. Because Susan and Dolphin are themselves grounded in their own awakening, they are able to provide living knowledge of that; where it comes from, and how to master it in this life. http://evolvehds.com/
