A father of six, Derrick Watson is a family man, an educator, and a good time all balled up into one package. His comedy style is very laid back and comfortable. On stage you would think that he is in his living room talking to a bunch of his friends. Derrick is not the ordinary cookie-cutter comedian. He has skillfully combined business with ministry by making sure that God's ministry is his only business. It's not about fortune or fame, it's strictly about the God he serves. When you see Derrick you will seldom find him without his wife, Rose, 2 sons, Malachi and Elijah, and 4 daughters, Deana, Brooklyn, Chloe and Samantha. Whether it's a church event, fundraiser, street fair, concert, or dinner, if you see Derrick, you get the whole clan. "This is a family ministry, I want my children to see daddy ministering the good news of Jesus Christ. If I was a preacher, people wouldn't bat an eye when they see my clan but because I am a comedian people feel as if I need to leave my family home. Not so. Ministry is Ministry. If I were to make you shout or I make you laugh, my family, especially my children, need to see that ministry comes in many forms. I want to instill in them that ministry is for all who want and need it." Derrick's also the Founder and President of Victorious Production, a theatre ministry that produces original plays throughout the year.
Derrick Jack is a Gallup Certified Strengths Performance Coach and EP10; Entrepreneurial Profile 10 coach based in greater Louisville KY.

The high drama and low comedy of Boston politics surely plays out most publicly with its mayors. Yet since 1909, much of the real action and strongest personalities have been in the City Council. That's when Boston revised from a board of aldermen and common council. They are the legislative body, who go far beyond their main duty of voting up or down the annual city budget.
With no staggered terms, the 9 district councilors and 4 at-large ones run every two years. In theory, citizens could throw the bums out two years.
In my decades here, I have seen, heard and dealt with various iterations of the Council. I have met and even confronted some real lulus and loons. Those alter kakers are gone and in recent years egos have been in check and responsibility much higher.
We've recently lost some of the most active, smartest and overall best councilors. Some stepped down to run for mayor. Some burned out. At least one left for more money.
In this election year, I'll set up future shows with incumbents and the few challengers. I'll talk about the shifts and possibilities.
You never know what to expect when you listen to the HONEYCOMB HIDEOUT. Sometimes it's jazz, sometimes it's PRINCE, or THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRINCE, it could be a splash on KARYN WHITE, or drift around the MOTOR CITY with THE MOTOWN sound - it could be anything. Jazz versions of popular, but it's for sure, the BUZZ will be some supersound and JGCD - Johnny "Graham Cracker" (CARCKER) Davis is in control of the control switch - you are in for a musical journey - a treat, so .... it's right here on the JKN.
Derrick Worsley grew up with a father in the Army, which acclimated him somewhat to the military lifestyle as a child. However, it was never consciously engrained that he would follow in his father’s footsteps, nor did he have an understanding of the sacrifices involved in participating in the military. When his attempts at college proved unfruitful, he found that he felt a calling to join in his father’s legacy and so enlisted in the army.
While in the army, Worsley served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other foreign countries. It was there that he had to adapt to a variety of cultures. Worsley describes his Army experience as making him “whole” in a way that made him more mature, grounded, and responsible. It was in fact his leaders within the Army that inspired him to continue his education to what eventually constituted a Masters degree. That education was applied to entrepreneurship, which took the form of an online company, DCdiscountOutlet.com, LLC.
As an actor he is a host of DIY Network’s “I Want That” and a recurring role on ABC’s “Nashville.” Tyler Perry’s studio brought him in for “The Have and Havenots” and he’s also done a variety of commercial work with many other projects in the pipeline. Currently, he’s working behind the scenes on Plus Size Diva’s the Musical and Movie and will also portray the character of an arrogant businessman George Lamiry.
The breaking news all over the internet is that Josh Duggar has resigned from The Family Research Council after someone dug up dirt on his life when he was a teenager. Josh admitted to molesting a few of his sisters as well as a non-family member. Josh committed these crimes when he was 14 years old and his parents turned him in and got him counseling.
We'll discuss this and the issue of judgment beginning with the house of God and other news today on Free for All Friday.
